    water. Typically installed in
    lavatories on two consecutive
    floors.
    LOOPED VENT
    Method of ventilation for fixtures located in the center of a room
    LOCAL VENT

    A pipe used to convey foul


    odors from a fixture or room. It
    has no connection with the
    drainage piping system
    UTILITY VENT

    Used in basements or
    underground public restrooms
    wherein a vent stack is not
    possible to extend above
