There is only one Medical Entrance Exam for admission in any Medical College in
India
i.e. NEET.
Eligibility criteria for NEET and Exam Format
NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is now a single national level
exam for students aspiring to become doctors. NEET will be conducted in 11
languages, including Hindi and English through pen and paper mode. NEET
2021 would be conducted for admission into MBBS and BDS programs for all
the medical colleges of the country including AIIMS and JIPMER. Last year
there were 1,18,316 MBBS & BDS seats that were offered through NEET
2020 to students in 529 medical and 313 dental colleges of the country. For

• The question paper comprises of 180 multiple choice questions from
Physics (45 questions), Chemistry (45 questions) and Biology (90
questions).
• All the questions are multiple choice questions with only one correct answer.
• Aspirants would be awarded +4 for every correct answer and a penalty of -
1 for every incorrect answer.
• Marking more than one option would be considered as an incorrect answer.
• The duration of the exam is three hours.
• Minimum eligible score for the entrance of MBBS is 50 percentile for
general category, 45 percentile for physically handicapped general
candidates and 40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC category candidate.
• The question paper of NEET will be available in English, Hindi, Assamese,
Gujarati, Tamil, Marathi, Bengali, Kannada, Telugu, Urdu and Oriya
languages.

i. Start by learning basic math tools like differentiation as it is required to solve many
problems.
ii. Never think of just memorizing formulas in Physics rather derive and understand
their working.
iii. Problem solving is the key to success in Physics. Don’t just read the solutions but
solve
them.
iv. Focus more on the important chapters keeping the past trends in mind.
v. Always make short notes for all the topics you studied (it may act as formula copy
too).

NCERT books.
ii. Follow tricks or make your own to memorize some of the topics like periodic table

iii. Never forget the exceptions as these are the ones asked mostly in exams.
