 METHOD STATEMENT

This Method Statement has been developed in order to outline the main work
operations and performance of associated quality control activities during the
installation work of Gypsum Board suspended ceiling in DDC - DH.

2.0 SCOPE

This method statement describes the activities and process of Ceiling works for
DDC at DH. It Include preparation, installation and protection in accordance
with the approved Standards/ Specification.

3.0 DEFINITIONS

 4.0 RESPONSIBILITIES
METHOD STATEMENT
 Project Manager (PM) shall be responsible for the overall implementation of
the Company Safety Plan and this Method of Statement, liaison/co-ordination
with the QA/QC Department to ensure efficient execution of works in
accordance with the specification requirements.

 The Project Manager (PM) shall functionally be responsible for conducting

surveillance and inspection duties for work defined herein and efficient
recording and reporting of the results as required.

 The Construction Manager (CM) shall report directly to the project

Manager(PM)

 The Lead Civil Engineer shall functionally report to the Construction Manager
and shall review all relevant documentation, Materials Certificates and Non
Conformance’s.

 The Lead Civil Engineer shall receive all Requests for Inspection ( RFI) Forms
from the Construction Department.

 The Lead Civil Engineer (LCE) shall carry out planned Inspections, Surveillance
Inspection conforming to Specifications.

 The Lead Civil Engineer (LCE) shall accompany the SAPMT representative to
carry out routine Inspections and release hold points by signing and obtaining
the SAPMT representative approval signatures on the various Quality Records
as proof of Inspection conforming to Specifications. The Construction
Supervisor (CS) shall coordinate with other discipline Quality Control Inspectors
for ensuring that all other discipline activities that require inspection within the
civil construction program have been inspected and approved.

 The Lead Civil Engineer (LCE) shall be responsible for the observance of all
safety precautions required by Saudi Aramco Construction Safety Manual
Handbook.

5.0 MATERIALS CONTROL

 The Lead Civil Engineer (LCE) shall carry out an inspection of the material when
the material arrives in the warehouse. The inspector shall ensure the material
conforms to the project specifications, Purchase Order and relevant Saudi
Aramco Engineering Standard.
