- Well, I am from ……Sylhet which is the eastern part of Bangladesh. My city is famous for
saree/tea/mosque. My living area is 25 kilometers away from the main city. I have been living
here since my birth/for 10 years..
What do you do?/do you work or study?\
- I have completed my MBA/BBA/BA/B.SC in the department of AIS/CSE/AR/EEE from
Dhaka University/BUET/BRAC/NU. My university is called the oxford of the east.

- Well, I am an assistant auditor in a reputed organization called/named ABC company. My
core responsibility is to prepare audit report and give consultancy for the betterment of the
company.
Alternative Answer: I work in a software company in our country, and I often have to work with a
number of colleagues on different projects and requirements. However, I believe I work most with
two of my colleagues, who happen to be also from my university, as we are often in the same team
working on the same projects.
Q 10. What kinds of flowers and plants grow near where you live? [Why/Why not?]
Answer: I would like to express my biased opinion that I am not a passionate gardener like my
grandfather, but still, I believe that a house without some plants and flowers looks empty. And yes,
having plants - both flowers and other kinds, is an absolute necessity not only for aesthetic reasons but
also for environmental reasons.
Q 19. Do you ever take a gift when you visit someone in their home? [Why/Why not?]
Answer: Yes, I most often buy a gift on such an occasion. I do it as it is a broadly followed
convention in our country, and the idea of giving a host some sort of gifts is exciting, especially when
the host loves the gift. Besides, it's a token of appreciation and a good gesture as a guest.
Q 22. Do you think it’s important for people to play games? [Why/Why not?]
Answer: Yes, I do believe that sports and games are vital for a balanced life. Games are highly
entertaining and beneficial for our health. Many games are helpful for children's physical and
cognitive developments. It also teaches them important skills like how to be a team member and
develops their decision-making capabilities.
Q 24. Who do you spend the most time talking to on the telephone? [Why?]
Answer: I believe that would be my mom. She is very close to me and starts worrying if she does not
hear from me for more than a few hours. She calls me a few times each day whenever I am out and I
can tell her virtually anything. For these reasons, she is the person I spend the most time talking to on
a telephone or on a mobile phone.
Q 25. Do you sometimes prefer to send a text message instead of telephoning? [Why/Why not?]
Answer: Yes, sometimes sending a text message is more convenient and makes more sense than
calling someone. For instance, if I'm in a meeting or in a crowded place, I would prefer SMS than
phone calls. Moreover, if I need to send an address, a number or an email ID, I would rather send a
text message than to call the intended recipient.
Q 26. Do you prefer to have one particular friend or a group of friends? [Why?]
Answer: I think it's a tough question to answer. But I will try. Naturally, I would like to have a group
of friends from my school, my neighborhood and a few online friends but someone truly special
would become my best friend. One particular friend, who I believe would be a truly great friend and
completely reliable, is hard to find but will remain my buddy for a long time while many other friends
would be for a short span of time.
Q 29. Have you ever learned to play a musical instrument? [Which one?]
Answer: I once tried to master the skills of playing the guitar. I even got admitted to a music school
to learn to play the guitar but could not finish the whole course. I can play some basic tones and music
in the guitar but I am not a skilled guitarist.
Q 31. Did you enjoy the summer holidays when you were at school? [Why/Why not?]
Answer: During my school days, the summer seasons were not as hot and humid as they are today, or
at least this is what I think now! So I was not too concerned about the extreme weather during
summer seasons back then. And of course, I loved the summer holidays as it meant a long leave from
school, visiting grandparents' house and doing fun activities with family and friends. Those were
magical days.
Answer: Yes, I’ve visited two foreign countries, the India and Nepal. My favorite foreign
country was the UK because it’s so different to my own country. Another country I want to
visit is Bhutan.
Q 36. Do you like the same colors now as you did when you were younger? [Why/Why not?]
Answer: Yes, pink has always been my favorite color. My father bought me a beautiful pink doll
when I was only 4 years old and my parents painted my room pink in my childhood. Since then, I am
in love with this color and interestingly it is still the same.
Q 39. What kinds of fast food have you tried? [Why/Why not?]
Answer: As I have grown up a little, fast foods are not my favorite, but once upon a time I was crazy
about them! I tried pizzas, sandwiches, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, tacos, doughnuts,
burritos, fried chicken, pancakes, muffins, noodles, chips, milkshakes, and what not! However, my
all-time favorites are pizza and burritos.
Q 40. Do you ever use a microwave to cook food quickly? [Why/Why not?]
Answer: Yes, we have been using a microwave oven at our house for more than a decade. Though we
mostly use it to reheat a food item, we sometimes use it to cook food faster or make an item when it is
necessary, for instance, to prepare a homemade pizza. It offers great convenience of reheating foods
and cooking food by saving time and energy.
Q 41. How popular are fast food restaurants where you live? [Why/Why not?]
Answer: Fast food restaurants are insanely popular, especially among children and teenagers, in the
place where I live. They are everywhere, and you just need to walk a few steps to find a flamboyant
fast food restaurant with many customers. I believe they are popular among children and the young
generation because they are very fond of those scrumptious, sugary and calorie-packed food items that
usually satisfy their taste buds.
Q 43. What kinds of article are you most interested in? [Why?]
Answer: I am into learning important tips about how to remain healthy both physically and mentally,
so I read health-related articles. I am also interested in learning about the latest trends in computer
technologies since I am a student of computer science, and as a result, I never like to miss any
technology-related articles. But it doesn’t necessarily mean that I don’t like to read other kinds of
articles such as those which talks about sports and foods.
Q 46. Have you always travelled to work/college in the same way? [Why/Why not?]
Answer: Yes, I have always travelled to my work in the same way with my bike mainly because using
a bike is very convenient for me since I have the freedom to go anywhere at my own pace. Besides, I
have found out that travelling on my bike costs me significantly lesser than travelling in a public bus
which, by the way, is not very reliable because of the poorly-built roads in the area where I live.
Q 54. What will the countryside look like in your country in the future?
Answer: Well, I am afraid to say that the most countrysides in my country would become more and
more like a city in near future since more and more modern-day facilities and amenities, like those of
a city, would become available in the countryside as well. Due to population rise at a rapid speed, the
countrysides will also become congested and noisy.
Q 60. Do many people in your country have pets? [Why? /Why not?]
Answer: No, as far as I know, most families in my country don't have pets at their home. I think
around one out of ten families, in my country, have pets, primarily because our culture and tradition
doesn’t exactly encourage us to have pets in our houses.
