BENDY

MATERIALS:

• 3.5mm (E) hook

• Worsted weight yarn in black & white

• Small amounts of black and white felt

• Fiberfill stuffing

• Tapestry needle for sewing pieces together

**You will need to know basic crochet technique for this pattern, such as single crochet, half
double crochet, decreases, slip stitch, etc. This pattern also uses “mirror crochet”. A video

(This is not my video, I take no credit for it, I just find it very useful in learning this technique.)
Please note, this doll can be made WITHOUT using the mirror crochet technique and instead
simply using regular single crochet. I simply prefer the mirror crochet technique because it gives
the doll a more “polished” look.

F/O, leaving a tail for sewing. Wrap this piece around the center of the other bowtie piece and
sew the ends together, leaving a tail to sew to neck.

ASSEMBLY:

Sew the head to the body.

Before sewing the face to the head, use thread or


yarn to embroider the mouth on the face.

Sew the face to the head. Then sew the horns


to the top of the head, stuffing them as you sew.

Sew the arms to the side of the body, and


sew the legs to the bottom of body. Sew the bowtie
to the neck.

Using black felt, cut out the eyes and


attach to face using your preferred
method: sewing, needle felting, or gluing.

Using small amounts of black and white felt,


cut out 4 small ovals of black and 2 small ovals
of white. Attach the black ovals to the back of
the hands and the white ovals to the tips of the
shoes.

And that’s it! Now you have your very own Bendy!
