    SUBJECT : BASIC TRAINING COURSE FOR UNIT LEADERS


    DATE : 11 March 2024

    1. The Rizal Council, Boy Scouts of the Philippines announces with great pleasure its conduct of
    Basic Training Course for Unit Leaders (Kawan, Troop and Outfit Advisors) scheduled to be
    held on April 12-14, 2024 (live-in) at Frisco F. San Juan Sr. Scout Training Camp Sitio
    Abuyod, Brgy. Dalig, Teresa, Rizal.

    2. Objectives:
    2.1 . Apply aims and purposes of scouting in unit leadership;
    2.2 . Apply the role of Scouting in mans’ life;
    2.3 . Share basic skills, knowledge, abilities
    acquired in unit leadership; &
    2.4 . Implement the patrol system in all activities.

    3. Qualifications for participation:

     Currently registered with BSP


     Physically and mentally fit as certified
     Not below 18 years old but not over 65 years old
     of Good moral character

    4. What to bring:
    All participants are required to bring the following:
     Duly approved Travel order
     sets of type “A” (optional) and “B” scout uniforms
     Medical certificate
     tentage and sleeping gears
     toiletries
     First Aid Kits
     ruler, scissors, pencil, ballpen, notebook, pentel pens,
    bond papers
     6 ft. rope, ¼ diameter
     flashlight/camera(optional)
     working clothes
    5. Registration:
    A Registration Fee of Two Thousand Five Hundred pesos only (Php 2,500.00) shall be
    charged each participant to cover cost for meals, snacks, t-shirt, handouts, supplies,
    certificates, and other course materials, will be deposit at Boy Scouts of the Philippines –
    Rizal Council, Landbank - Taytay Branch with account # 3111-0619-20, Deadline is on April
    05, 2024, non-refundable but transferable. Expenses relative thereto can be charged to
    Local Scouting Funds/ M.O.O.E. subject to usual accounting and auditing.

    6. All participants are expected to be at training venue on or before 5:00 o’clock in the
    afternoon of April 12, 2024.

    7. Enclosed is the list of Training Staff for information and guidance of all concerned.

    8. All Members of the Training Staff are instructed to attend the meeting on March 22, 2024,
    Friday at Frisco F. San Juan Sr. Scout Training Camp Sitio Dalig, Brgy. Abuyod, Teresa, Rizal
    at 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon.

    9. Deadline of submission of the names of participants will be on April 01. 2024 or call Rizal
    Council Extension Office, BSP (Cel. # 09215309564) for confirmation of participants. This
    should be strictly observed to warrant the conduct of the course. We need your cooperation
    to avoid last minute preparation on our part.

    10. All District Scouting Commissioners. Municipal Scouting Committee Chairmen, Public
    School Heads are enjoined to motivate Lay Leaders, Unit leaders and supporters of
    Scouting from their respective districts/schools to attend this training course.

    11. Please promote this training to ensure maximum attendance.
