INTRODUCTION
The Placement Cell witnessed an incredibly successful placement season in the academic
year 2022-23 which saw the participation of companies across domains such as Finance,
Consulting, FMCG, HR, and Research and Public Policy.
One of the key elements on the basis of which the students are shortlisted by our corporate
partners is the Cumulative Vitae (CVs) of the students. To enable a fair and just
recruitment process for all the students of LSR, it is extremely crucial that the CVs
submitted by the students are authentic and contain information backed by relevant
documents and proof.
Following our experience with the CV Vetting process in the previous recruitment seasons,
we realized that students had grievances about specific elements of the Vetting process
and the relevant reasoning for the same.
We therefore consider it extremely important that the Student Body is aware about all the
elements of the CV Vetting process to avoid ambiguity during the process. It would also be
in the interest of the larger student body to know the relevant documents and data they
should keep in hand with themselves in order to get their CVs properly vetted by the Cell.
This manual contains guidance about the process to be followed for each element of the
CVs along with the documentation proof that students would be required to submit.
We also understand that some of the procedures or details mentioned in the manual might
require justification or reasoning which might not be stated in the manual, and so, in an
effort to address any grievances of the students regarding the process, the students are
free to write their concerns at placements@lsr.edu.in or can connect with:

9. Can I write my SGPA score instead of CGPA?
No, the students cannot use a particular SGPA score instead of cumulative CGPA
since the same would lead to non-uniformity among the students with regards to
their results. Therefore, the student is strictly supposed to use 'CGPA' arrived by
using the mentioned formula.
