Description :

In the "Robo Soccer" competition, individual teams of robots compete to


score the maximum number of goals. Each team's robots are manually
to navigate the field, dribble the ball, and shoot towards the opponent's
goal with precision and skill. The team with the highest number of goals
within a specified time frame at the end of the match is declared the
winner, showcasing their mastery of robotics, strategy, and teamwork.
Get ready for an exhilarating display of technology and sportsmanship
as these robotic athletes strive for victory on the soccer field!
It is the event where you to get to test the efficiency and power, skills of
your droid/robot…. Organized by PSIT KANPUR under the banner of “Tech Fest
‘’IGNITIA 2024”.

ROBOT SPECIFICATIONS: -
1) The maximum dimension of the robot can be 24cm x 18cm x 24cm (l x b x h).

2) The robot may be wired or wireless.

3) The length of the wire (for wired bots) should be long enough to cover the whole track and wire should
remain slack during the complete run.
4) Max weight must not exceed 5 kg.

5) Ready-made toys, car and Lego bots are not allowed.

RULES AND REGULATIONS: -


1.The maximum distance between the wheels of robo can very 15-25cm.
2. There will be a one or two round competition depending on the number of entries.
3.A change of battery will not be allowed during match.
4Use of damaged, non-leak proof batteries may lead to disqualification.
5. No unfair means should be used to increase the weight of the robot (using stone, stuff, or anything like
that).
6. IC engines, inflammable chemicals, explosive should not be used.
7. The structure of the robot should not be changed during the competition.
8.The Robo car must travel on the specific path provided in the arena.

9.Each member of the team must contain the identity card of his/her respected institute.

10.The robot should not damage the arena.

11The robot must not leave behind any of its parts during the run; else it will result in disqualification.

12. Unethical behaviour could lead to disqualification. Faculty-coordinators have all the rights to take final
decision for any matter during the event.
Certificates will be given to all the participants. *Rules may subject to change.

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
1. Match will feature a one-vs-one format, pitting two team of robots against each other on the field.
2.The match will last for a fast-paced 15 minutes.
3.In the event of a tie at the end of regulation time, a penalty shootout will be employed to determine the
winner. This thrilling tiebreaker adds suspense and drama to the competition, ensuring that every moment
of the match is filled with excitement.
