The Network Password Recovery Tool allows you to setup a mobile phone number for text message password
recovery the next time you forget your password or it expires. The tool can be used from anywhere at anytime
globally, eliminating the need to call the Help Desk.
SECTION 3 – Change password (follow these steps if you remember your current password)
Access the Okta Portal [https://aecom.okta.com]
Enter your 2FA credentials when asked
Enter your current password and new password and click ‘Change Password’ (follow password complexity guidelines)

NETWORK PASSWORD RECOVERY TOOL – SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
To use the Network Password Recovery Tool, you must have your 2FA (Two-factor Authentication) credentials and a mobile phone
number.
If you do not have 2FA access, submit a request before you get started. To learn more about 2FA visit the Help Desk Knowledge
Base.
Step 1
Access the Okta Portal by clicking here. [https://aecom.okta.com]
Step 2
Enter your AECOM email and network password. Note – if you are logged in to the AECOM network you may not see this screen, proceed
to step 3.

Click on the Password Reset icon from the Okta Portal. This may be fond at the bottom of the page.

Enter your 2FA VIP Security Code.

You may occasionally see the “Edit Profile” button displayed on Step 3

If you are asked to setup multifactor authentication during Step 2
