    Product Information Finishing Auxiliaries

    Evo® Soft NH

    Function Ready to use non-ionic softener for all natural and synthetic fibres

    Properties - Full, soft, flowing handle

    - Can use used in resin finishing liquors

    - Stable to normal-use concentrations of acids, alkalis and hard water salts

    - Compatible with most anionic, cationic and nonionic products. Preliminary


    trials are recommended to check liquor stability.

    - Does not impair whiteness at temperatures up to 180 °C

    Chemical Characteristics Fatty acid condensation product

    Technical Data Form supplied: Thick White Paste

    pH: 6.5 - 8.5 (at 4 g/l)

    Ionicity: Nonionic

    Shelf life: 1 year in original closed containers.


    Do not store at temperatures above 35 °C;
    product may agglomerate at higher
    temperatures.

    Pad application

    10 - 30 g/l Evo Soft NH


    Dry at 120 - 180 °C

    Exhaust application

    Winch beck, circulating liquor units for loose stock, yarn,


    woven fabrics and knitgoods:
    1-2 % Evo Soft NH
    Liquor temperature: 30 - 40 °C
    Liquor pH: 4.5 - 5.5 (acetic acid)
    Treatment time: 20 min
    Dry at 120 - 180 °C

    Drum washing units:
    Softening of garments and denim fabrics, especially white goods
    Add to last rinsebath:
    10 - 30 g/l Evo Soft NH
    pH of rinse liquor: 6-7
    Treatment time: 5 - 15 min
    Temperature: 25 - 40 °C
    Drain goods and tumble-dry
