Summary
Introduction
An animal shelter is a place that is dedicated to providing temporary care and a home for animals
that are either homeless or unwanted.
Introduction
Most Malaysian cities and towns have animal shelters.
Shelters need many personnel and volunteers and must follow federal, state,
and local rules.
Pet overpopulation is a result of uncontrolled breeding and reckless pet
owners.
Even if they don't get rid of unwanted pets, they help stop the spread of
disease and make it less likely that stray animals will bite or scratch you.
The overpopulation of stray animals in Malaysia is caused by over
reproduction by owners, overcrowding in shelters, and unhealthy social
practises such as pet maltreatment and a lack of animal care awareness.
