Muhamed Ali, born January 17, 1942, in Louisville (Kentucky) and died June 3, 2016, in
Scottsdale (Arizona). He is American. He a former boxer. He is 6’3’’ tall.
Born as Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr. he changed his name to Muhamed Ali at the age of 22 in
1965 upon his conversion to Islam.
He had one big brother. He received the gold medal at the Olympic Championship
at the Rome in 1960, and won WBA (World Boxing Association) world champion
in 1964. In his entire career (1960-1981), he fought 61 times, won 51 times and
won 37 times by KO.
His nickname is The Greatest, Muhammad Ali becomes the first
triple heavyweight champion of the world !
Elected a record six times as the best boxer of the year by Ring
Magazine and included in the International Boxing Hall of Fame,
Ali is considered one of the greatest boxers in history! In March
2005, he received the Otto Hahn Peace Medal in Berlin on Behalf of the United Nations.
He got married four times and had 9 children, and 1 more adopted.
Beside his great career, the boxer at the time of his conversion to Islam: he refuses to go to
swell the troops of the American soldiers who went to fight in Vietnam. The star escaped
prison but was banned from boxing for three and a half years and stripped of his titles.
Some rules:
1. Each championship match will consist of twelve (12) rounds of three (3) minutes each
with one (1) minute rest.
2. The referee is the only person who can referee a bout and the only person authorized to
terminate the match.
3.All bouts will be evaluated and scored by three (3) judges.
4.The mandatory eight (8) count after being sent to the mat will be the standard procedure
in all bouts.
