Uses / Applications
 H - EAGLE(120/50) is a vinyl acetate homopolymer dispersion of medium viscosity with reactive groups and an acidic pH value.
 H - EAGLE(120/50) is ideal for water resistant wood glues and paper adhesives. The dispersion exhibits a rapid increase in bond strength
when being pressed at temperatures of approx. 20 °C, also at higher pressing temperatures between 50 and 100 °C.
 Particularly on hot presses (60 – 80 °C) the accelerated increase of the bond strength makes H - EAGLE (120/50) most suitable for the
short-contact lamination of panels with Formica finishing and for post-forming finishes of panel edges and profiles. The resulting water-
proof bonds exhibit an outstanding heat and water resistance.
 Dry films of H -EAGLE (120/50) absorb only very low amounts of water. Even after prolonged water immersion the films show no ability to
re-emulsify, exhibiting therefore a good water-proof performance of the dried bond. On tannin-rich timber almost no discoloration is
observed.

Preservation and Storage

 The dispersion contains some initial preservatives to prevent attack by micro organisms. In order that the product is also sufficiently
protected against microbial contamination during further storage in opened drums or storage tanks a suitable preservative should be
added despite our preliminary preservation measures and the tanks and pipe work should be kept adequately clean.
 Prior to use H -EAGLE(120/50) should be stored for no longer than 12 months at temperatures as constant as possible between 5 and 35
°C and must be protected from frost and direct exposure to sunshine.
 Furthermore it must be ensured that already opened drums or containers are always tightly closed.
 The technical data ascertained by our quality control laboratory at the time of product release may vary according to the storage time and
storage conditions and may deviate from the stated limits. Especially after longer times of storage a moderate increase of the viscosity
may be observed. Simple stirring will reduce this time-induced viscosity increase to normal values.
Industrial Safety and Environmental Protection
 Not a hazardous substance or preparation within the meaning of the current Hazardous Materials Regulations. The usual
protective measured employed during the handling of aqueous polymer emulsions should be observed.
 This product should not be stored for longer than 12 months before processing. As far as possible, storage should be at a
uniform temperature in the region of 5 - 30 °C Storage tanks must be cleaned and disinfected well before use.
 The technical data ascertained by our quality control laboratory at the time of product release may vary according to the
storage time and storage conditions and may deviate from the stated limits.
