    RATIONALE:

    One of the main concern of Sangguniang Kabataan Federation is to deliver basic


    services to our constituent. The Sports Development and youth sector is our primary
    concern. Conducting Basketball Tournament at least once a year is one of the proposed
    program of the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Patnongon. In this method, the
    Sangguniang Kabataan of Patnongon tends to help every basketball enthusiasts to uphold
    their talent and skills in this field sport.

    As the Vice Chairman of the Youth and Sports Development, it has been always the
    vision of the youth to indulge in the civic ventures towards responsive, physical and moral
    discipline.

    OBJECTIVES:
    1. The tournament aims to promote sportsmanship, unity and
    camaraderie.
    2. To deviate the youth’s attention from drug addiction.
    DESCRIPTION:

    The tournament shall be known Mayor’s Cup Inter-Barangay Basketball


    Tournament 2023 as featuring Basketball with two (2) divisions.

    ESTIMATED COST:
    (Php. 200,000) Two Hundred Thousand Pesos.

    Sir/Ma’am,

    By virtue of the power vested in me as stipulated in Section 13 (f) of Republic Act 10742,
    otherwise known as the “Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015,” you are hereby
    appointed as Sangguniang Kabataan Secretary of T. Fornier, Patnongon, Antique, effective
    upon completion of SK Mandatory Training and upon taking your oath of office. By then,
    you will be authorized to perform duties and functions attached to that position as
    specified in Section 14 of RA 10742.
