SOCIAL MEDIA: IMPACT ON EVERYDAY LIFE
Social media has become one of the most used communication or interaction tools in this 21st century.
It could also be said to have form an integral part of our modern society, steadily influencing different
areas of ur daly lives. Social media tools have adjusted how we relate, interact, see ourselves and gather
information. This essay intend to explore the multifaceted impact of social media on everyday life,
examining it's effect on communication, self-express, information dissemination and relation.
Social media tools have revolutionized communication by providing instant connectivity and facilitating
real time interactions. Social media tools like Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and Twitter allow individual
to stay connected with families, friends, colleagues irrespective of the distance between their locations.
Instant messaging apps such as Facebook messenger and WhatsApp gives room for easy communication
via text, voice and video calls. Social media and it's values has changed how people share experiences,
thoughts and emotions, encouraging a sense of community and belonging in the digital world.
Social media avails individual an avenue for self expression and identity management. Using a well
structured profile, status updates and photos, users create digital presence that shows their interests,
aspirations and values. The urge to present and idealistic version of oneself can lead to feelings of
insecurity and inadequacy. Also, social media tools present avenue for self comparison thereby making
worse issues related to body image, mental health and self esteem.
Social media tools play significant role in information dissemination and societal dialogue. Opinion
pieces, articles and viral contents spears fast through all social media tool, reaching millions of users in
the twinkle of an eye. Social media tools gives access to diverse perspectives and grassroot movements.
It also boost the spread of disinformation and misinformation, hindering meaningful dialogue and
understanding.
The impact of social media on interpersonal relationship is absolute and complicated. While social media
enables people to maintain connections with distant assoicates and reconnect with friends, it might be
old friends or prospective ones. For professional networking and career advancement, social media tools
like LinkedIn could be the most appropriate social media tools. The frequent use of social media tools
have reshaped the dynamics of face-to-face interactions, thereby making people have concerns as
regards the quality and authenticity of relationships. The urge to maintain a curated online presence and
the need to always compare can disrupt relationships and add to the feelings of been isolated and
inadequate.
In conclusion, the impact of social media on everyday life is overwhelming and significant. Social media
tools have restructure communication, self expression, information dissemination and relationships. It
also poses significant risks and challenges. As society finds a way of dealing with the consequences of
the impact of social media on everyday life, it is necessary to examine critically its role in society norms,
shaping individual behavior and mutual consciousness. Encouraging digital literacy, facilitating empathy,
promoting responsibility usage and understanding, we can control the potential of social media to
create a more informed, inclusive and corrected environment or society.

Answer 2
I think the area of my draft that will benefit most from my revision would be the conclusion, because I
believe the introduction is detailed and the body of the draft is well broken down. However, I believe
the conclusion of my draft is good, it does not mean that same minor revision could not be done to the
introduction and body of my draft.

improve on your weaknesses in future essay?
Answer 3
One of my strength in writing my draft is understanding the topic and breaking it down effectively. After
critically analysing the topic and drafting out a well thought with introduction, breaking down the topic
into different categories for further explanation in the body of my draft. This part of my strength helps a
lot in writing the introductory part and developing the body of my draft. Learning, the say it's
continuous, I believe I will improve on my weakness as future essay because my strength is what I will be
relying on most and I believe it will always work.
