1)Microsoft:
The largest software corporation in the world is Microsoft. The Microsoft Office suite, the Internet
Explorer and Edge web browsers, and the Microsoft Windows series of operating systems are its most well-
known software offerings.
Microsoft continues to set records for Xbox game sales, and millions of people use LinkedIn, its
business-focused social network, to interact with professionals. Customers of Microsoft span the globe,
from individuals and small enterprises to the largest corporations and governmental organizations.
Two childhood friends from Seattle, Bill Gates and Paul Allen, founded the business in 1975 with
the goal of creating and marketing BASIC interpreters for the Altair 8800. Using MS-DOS in the mid-1980s,
Microsoft swiftly gained market dominance in personal computer operating systems, and was later joined
by Software Materials
