TOURNAMENT RULES & GUIDELINES
1. LAWS OF THE GAME: All matches of the SK CABITAN YOUTH OLIMPIAD “FOOTBALL”
shall be conducted in accordance with the current FIFA laws of the Game except as
specifically modified in the tournament rules. All matches are 7-A-SIDE FOOTBALL.
The tournament rules are intended to be all inclusive, but it cannot account for every
situation. If a situation arises that is not covered by the Tournament Rules, all
participants are bound by any decision made by the Tournament Committee. In
addition, the Tournament Committee’s interpretation of the foregoing rules and
regulations shall be final.
2. PLAYERS ELIGIBILITY:
a. Boys 15 (Born 2009 – 2011) 7 - Aside
b. Boys 12 (Born 2010 & Above) 7 - Aside
c. Mens (16-30 years old) 7 - Aside
3. TEAM REGISTRATION: Teams are expected to register at the Registration Desk before
the schedule of the game. A Php 800.00 registration fee will be imposed for Mens
Category and Php 500.00 for Boys 12 and Boys 15 categories.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS TO COMPLETE REGISTATION:

a. Team Entry Form signed by the coach.
b. NSO/PSO Birth Certificate (AGE GROUP).
c. Gallery Form with recent Pictures and white background duly signed by the
coach.
4. MATCH RULES: The FIFA rules will be applied.

a. Substitutions: Unlimited IN and OUT substitutions, with the permission of
referee. All substitutes must enter the playing field from the halfway line and
should not enter the playing field until the player they are replacing has reached
the touchline.
b. NO OFF-SIDE.
c. Throw - in.
d. Goalkeepers cannot score a goal directly by throwing the ball or kicking the ball
(from inside the penalty box).
e. Pass back to goalkeeper is allowed but goalie has only 6 seconds to pass the ball.
5. TEAM STANDING: standing will be determined by number of points they earned after
the elimination round.
 3 Points – Win
 1 Point – Draw
 0 Point – Loss
Tie-Break system shall apply in the following order
 Best goal difference
 More goals scored
 Fewer goals against
 Head to head (win over the other)
 Penalty Kicks – 3 Kickers
6. SCHEDULE OF GAMES:
DAY 1 – APRIL 21, 2024 (SUNDAY)
Boys 12 (Born 2012 and Above) 7 – Aside
DAY 2 – APRIL 27, 2024 (SATURDAY)
Boys 15 (Born 2009 and 2011) 7 – Aside
DAY 3 – APRIL 28, 2024 (SUNDAY)
MENS (16-30 Years Old) 7 - Aside
7. DISCIPLINE: All players, coaches, parent and supporters are expected to conduct
themselves in a manner consistent with the spirit as well as the LAWS OF THE GAME.
The Tournament Officials reserves the right to terminate the participation of a team
or a player in the tournament if the behavior of their players, coaches, parents and
supporters creates an atmosphere in which a match/es cannot be completed within
the spirit and letters of the law of the game.
8. ZERO TOLERANCE: There will be no arguing, cursing, gesturing or intimidation with or

to the referee. Any infraction of this by a coach, parent or supporter may be cautioned
or ejected.
Coaches, Parents and Supporters can also be cautioned or ejected; no cards will be
shown. If ejected, they must leave the playing area and its immediate surroundings
before the match can be restarted. COACHES WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE
ACTIONS OF THEIR PLAYERS, THEIR PARENTS & SUPPORTERS.
WAIVER AND PERMISSION
Participants and their parents/guardian should be aware of the possible risks that are inherent in the
nature of the sports of football. These risks include, but are not limited to, the potential for
accidents/injuries or illness while participating. Every attempt is made to minimize the existing risks
through proper sports equipment, safe facilities, and sound safety practices. However, participants
should realize these risks cannot be eliminated.
By voluntary participation in the SK CABITAN YOUTH OLYMPIAD “FOOTBALL”

2024, I recognize, understand and agree:
1. That the competition carries with it potential hazards associated with the sport and acknowledge
that the SK CABITAN YOUTH OLYMPIAD “FOOTBALL” 2024 , carries no form of personal player
insurance and is not responsible for any case of injury, illness, theft or damage to property.
Therefore, we assume all the risks of participation and hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless
the SK OFFICIALS, its officers, directors, its affiliates, its appointed officials, coaches or any entity
involved in the Tournament for any injury/illness or loss of any kind.
2. I affirm that my son/daughter is physically fit and has not been advised to not participate by a
qualified medical professional. I further certify that there are no health-related reasons or problems
that preclude my son’s/daughter participation on this tournament.
3. In addition, I hereby agree and authorize the free use of my son’s/daughter’s name, image, video
and/or voice in any broadcast, telecast, print or any other account in any medium in any and all
publicity or promotional material relating to this event without compensation. However, I
understand that the organizers will assure that all materials will be used in good faith and will not be
detrimental to the participant involved.
In behalf of my son/daughter, I certify that all concerned parties have carefully read, understood and
agree to all the terms & conditions provided for in this document.
