    PROJECT OUTPUT 2

    Plate Title: SINGLE-STOREY RESIDENCE

    Instructions:

    1. Create a complete set of architectural drawings of the given floor plan.


    2. The layout should be on digital blueprinted paper measuring 20 x 30 inches.
    3. Observe the proper format and drawing lineweights. Use Helvetica LT Condensed as your standard
    font.
    4. Layer your drawings and model in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
    5. Observe using CAD Layout when printing with PDF.
    6. Please refer to the attached sample template of the title block and floor plan.

    Drawing Requirements:

    1. Cover Sheet
    a. Table of Contents
    b. Perspective (not rendered)
    c. Site Development Plan (1:100)
    d. Vicinity Map (not to scale)
    2. Architectural Plan (with Column Callouts)
    a. Floor Plan (1:00)
    b. Roof Plan (1:100)
    c. Elevation with material specifications (1:100)
    d. Section Drawings (1:100)
    e. Schedule of Doors and Windows (1:50)
    f. Reflected Ceiling Plan (1:100)

    Note:
    Make sure that your drawings and model is properly layered and in millimeter unit. We will be checking
    your files.

    Submission Date: On or before February 27, 2024, strictly until 6:00 pm


    FAQ:
    1. Can we create our own set of doors and windows?
    Answer: There is currently no doors and windows reflected on the plan. So yes, you may create your
    own doors and windows.

    2. Is there any specific design concept needed?


    Answer: No, we don’t require a specific concept. You are free to choose which style you like. Your
    creativity will also be graded.

    3. Can we use different style of roofs?


    Answer: Yes, you can any styles.

    4. There are no columns reflected on the plan. Do we have to put columns on our plans?
    Answer: Yes, you have to put columns and column callouts on your plans. It is up to you where you
    decide to locate it.

    5. Can we add any additional elements on the plan?


    Answer: Yes, you may add other elements like columns, studs and extended walls on your plan.
    However, you must not change the dimension of the given area.

    6. Do we need to use CAD Layout when creating PDF?


    Answer: Yes, you need to use the Layout and not the Model when creating the PDF.

    7. Regarding the submission of the printed drawings, can we print them outside or different
    shops? Are there any other options for the submission?
    Answer:
    Option 1: Yes, you can choose to print it outside or other printing shops. No need to upload your PDF
    file online. Just make sure to submit the printed 20 x 30 on or before the given deadline.

    Option 2: You can submit your files online. Just upload your files on your section’s Google classroom
    and we will be the ones to print it instead of you submitting the hardcopy personally. However, will
    be strict regarding this submission. You must submit the PDF file on or before 6:00 pm of February
    27, 2024. If ever you went over the given deadline, we will not print your file and considered it as late
    submission. Take note that for printing fee, it will be Php 25/sheet.
