NOTICE For example: ALT 149 means that you press and hold the (*CTRL+) ALT
key, and then enter 1, 4, and 9. Then release the (*CTRL+) ALT key. A
special character will be displayed, which represents the necessary
code (in this example, for cursor up).
For SIEMENS NIXDORF service PCs with no separate Num Keys:
The NUM LOCK key must be active.
Press and hold the ALT key, then press and hold the FN key, and then
enter 1 (= J) and 4 (=K) and 9 (=9). Then release all keys.
For other service PCs, please refer to the service PC user manual and
the Windows 3.1 / 3.11 user manual.

Final Steps 1
• After using the Memoskop keyboard emulation to program the Memoskop C-E, check
the function of the Memoskop C-E.
• BQ-Quick-Test (see the SIREMOBIL Compact log book).
• Replace all covers.
• After doing work on the system, perform the protective conductor test according to
ARTD-002.731.17.
