    a. Before reading a peer-reviewed article, you need to familiarize yourself with the
    article's background knowledge, vocabulary, and purpose. Additionally, starting
    with the abstract and moving on to the conclusion can help you garner a deeper
    understanding.
    2. What should you do while reading a peer-reviewed article?
    a. While reading a peer-reviewed article, it is okay to read sections out of order,
    annotate the text, form questions about the topic, and paraphrase what you’ve read
    to help yourself better understand.
    3. What should you do when you finish reading a peer-reviewed article?
    a. After reading a peer-reviewed article, you should revisit the article to expose
    yourself to the information, create flashcards from the material, and explain what
    you have learned to another person. Each of these strategies will make you more
    likely to retain the information.
