HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE (HDPE) SHEATHING COMPOUND

HDP – 333 UV Black (CACT Approved)

DESCRIPTION:

HDP- 333 UV Black is a High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) compound developed to be used for sheathing
of Fiber Optic Cables (OFC) / PIJF & Power cables. It has been formulated with necessary additives and
processing aid to achieve good extrusion. The incorporation of 2.5% of Carbon black gives the UV and
light stabilization required for the compound and the cables it is used on.

APPLICATIONS:

HDP –333 UV is suitable for sheathing of Optic Fibre Cables (OFC) / PIJF / Power cables.

DESCRIPTION:

HDP 666 is HDPE based compound is developed to be used for insulation of JFT cables. It has been
formulated with necessary additives and processing aid to achieve good extrusion, speed etc.

APPLICATIONS:

HDP 666 is suitable for insulation of Copper cables.

LENIER LOW DENSITY POLYETHYLENE (LLDPE) COMPOUND

GRADE LLP – 222 (CACT Approved)

DESCRIPTION:

LLP-222 is a black linier low-density polyethylene compound developed for sheathing of Jelly filled
telephone cables. It is formulated to give excellent finish and good ESCR properties. Well-dispersed
carbon black makes the product weather and ultraviolet radiation resistant.

APPLICATION:

LLP - 222 is suitable for sheathing of Jelly filled telecom cable.

MEDIUM DENSITY POLYETHYLENE (MDPE) COMPOUND

GRADE - MDPE – 777 (Sheathing)

DESCRIPTION:

MDP - 777 is a Black Medium density Polyethylene compound developed for sheathing of Power Cables
ABC Conductors & Jelly filled telephone cables. It is formulated to give excellent finish and good ESCR
properties. Well-dispersed carbon black makes the product weather and ultraviolet radiation resistant.

APPLICATION:

• MDP - 777 is suitable for sheathing of Power Cables, ABC Conductors & Jelly filled telecom cable.
The compound confirms to BS 6234 Type 03C: TS2, EN 50290-2-4 & IEC 60840, Type ST3 & ST7.
