CATAPULT HOOK-UP
ENGINE START 1. EMERGENCY WING SWEEP FULL FORWARD & DEPRESSED
2. EMER. WING SWEEP COVER CLOSED
1. Crank Switch Right Engine
3. MASTER RESET PRESS
2. Right Throttle IDLE (>20%)
4. WING SWEEP MODE AUTO
3. Crank Switch Left Engine 5. WING SWEEP VERIFY 20° (FULL FORWARD)
4. Left Throttle IDLE (>20%) 6. FLAPS DOWN
7. NOSE STRUT SWITCH KNEEL
4. Descend to 5000 AGL at 4000 ft/m and 250 KIAS and call CHECK IN
6. Continue to be at 1200 AGL at 10 NM to the carrier and call SEE YOU AT 10’
6. Continue descent to be at 1200 AGL at 10 NM to the carrier - Mode 1A : Automated till BALL call then manual :
o Same as Mode 1
7. Level at 1200 AGL and configure for landing at 150 KIAS at 6 NM o At BALL disengage AUTOPILOT by
pressing NWS switch
8. Switch on STEER CMD to AWL/PCD
- Mode 2 : All manually with needles with or without auto throttle
9. At 6 NM, ACLS lock and fly needles
11. At ¾ miles on speed call TOMCAT BALL (or CLARA if IFLOLS not on visual)
