Science and Technology: The Use of
Microscope
in the Development of Society
Introduction:
Science and technology hold the key to a nation's progress and development,
creating new technologies that can improve quality of life, economic growth, and social
transformation. New technologies, particularly microscopes, enable scientists to explore
nature in novel ways and make novel discoveries. Despite the fact that there are very
few publications in the literature on the incorporation of microscopy to distant learning
and its benefit to society, using a microscope has become essential in the development
of society. Following strict guidelines for pathogen identification via microscopy made
it easier to establish with confidence the vital data required to better understand the
biology of the illness and develop efficient treatments for current and upcoming
pandemics.
Science and technology work together to enhance one another. New technologies
are made possible by scientific knowledge. Scientist are frequently able to examine
nature in novel ways and make new discoveries thanks to new tools. Additionally, the
advancement of science and technology significantly impacts the nations over all
development.
The fundamental way that science and technology benefit society is by producing
new knowledge and then apply it to improve human prosperity and address society
problems. Science and technology have improved human life, made us feel comfortable
and allow us to live in the modern era.
A. The Topic of Interest or Main Idea.
Microscope are instrumental that are used in science laboratories to visualize very
minute objects such as cells and microorganisms, a giving contrasting image that is
magnified. Microscope are made up of lenses for magnification, each with its own
magnification powers. Depending on the type of lens, it will magnify the specimen
according to its focal strength.
This study aimed to determine the use of microscope to the development of the
society.
Specifically, it sought to answer the question: Why science and technology specifically
microscope is essential to the development of the society?
C. Background of the problem:
Science has benefited greatly from the invention of the microscope. Microscope
have allowed scientists, researchers, and students to investigate cell structure, discover
the existence of microbes, and view the tiniest details of various types of plants, and
fungus.
II. Main Body – Section 1
A. Extent of Problem.
The use of microscope greatly benefits academia, education, and research studies.
Thus, microscope improves the quality of life, solve the various current and upcoming
issues facing society. Therefore, microscope has a fundamental role in developing
society.
The research problem of this study aims to know why using microscope is essential in
the development of the society. The process undertaken to solve this problem are
internet surfing, and library technique in order to gather relevant information.
IV. Body-Section 3
A. Possible solutions
The researcher gathered information from secondary sources such as the internet
and the library. The researcher visited the city's libraries and internet cafés. Researchers
scribble down ideas and take notes on the subject. After the researchers collected and
categorized the data, the year of publication was used to assess its accuracy, reliability,
and up-to-datedness.
So, science and technology are really an essential part of the society and their
influence are growing significantly. Additionally, it helps to organize everyday
activities, speeds up work completion, has also lead changes in moral standards and
fundamental philosophies of mankind. Thanks to science and technology which help us
see things from new perspectives.
