Q.10 Solve each of the following system of linear equations ( find the point of intersection )
using
the Inverse Matrix Method and Cramer’s Rule :

x + 8y = 4 4x – 3y = 6 2x + y = 50 x – y = –1
3x – y = –13 3x – 2y = 5 3x – y = –5 x–y= 2

x + 3y = 4 x + y = 10 2x + 3y = 5 10x – y = –12
x – 2y = –6 x–y= 4 – x + 4y = 3 4x + 2y = 36

Q.11 Use Cramer’s Rule to solve each of the following system of linear equations:
x+ y+z =2 2x – 4y =6 x+y = 12 3x + 4y – 9z = –2
2x – y – z = 0 x+ y+ z =1 2x + 5y + 2z = 20 6x + 15z = 21
x + 2y – z = 4 5y + 7z = 10 6 x + 3y + 6z = 0 5 x + 4y =9

Q.12 The total number of passengers riding a bus during the morning shift is 800. If the child's
fare is 0.5 $ and the adult fare is 0.75$, and the total revenue from the fare is 500$. How
many children and adults rode the bus during the morning shift? ( Use Inverse Matrix
method or Cramer’s Rule )

Q.13 The total profit of three branches ( A , B , C ) of a restaurant is $12,000. The profit of
branches B and C together is $3,000 , and the profit of branches A and B together
is $5,000. Use Cramer’s Rule to find the profit/loss of each branch.
