Remote Control Key Matching

1. Check the battery voltage and ensure that it has sufficient quantity of electricity.

2. Open or close the vehicle door by using the mechanical key and do this by using the indoor central control lock.
3. Put the ignition switch at the “LOCK” position, shut down all the electric loads of the vehicle, and close all of

its doors.
4. Ensure that the theft-deterrent device is in the unlocked position and start the remote control key matching.

CAUTION:
● During the key learning, do not carry out any operation to the vehicle. LC
● When the key is inserted into the lock cylinder and is at the “ACC or ON” position, the remote control
does not work. EC
(a) Open the door on the driver's side twice within 10 seconds when the four doors are closed: OPEN → CLOSE
→ OPEN → CLOSE → OPEN. The door is finally in the open position and this position is kept. FE
(b) Put the ignition switch at the “LOCK” position, evenly and repeatedly switch it four times in ten seconds, and
finally, keep it in the closed position: “LOCK → ON → LOCK → ON → LOCK → ON → LOCK → CL
ON → LOCK”.
If suitable, the remote control module enters into the “Key Learning” mode. MT
TIPS:
● After the key learning mode is successfully entered, the steering indicator lamp blinds twice. AT

● The key learning mode is maintained for 30 seconds. If no operation is carried out in the 30 seconds, the key
learning mode is automatically exited. TF

● The remote control module can learn four keys at most.

(c) Press any button on the remote control key, and then the steering indicator lamp blinks once and the first PD

remote control key learning is successfully complete;

Press any button on some other remote control key, and then the steering indicator lamp blinks once and the FA

second remote control key learning is successfully complete;

remote control key learning is successfully complete;

Press any button on some other remote control key, and then the steering indicator lamp blinks once and the fourth
remote control key learning is successfully complete;

(d) When four key learnings are complete or the door on the driver's side is closed, the remote control module
terminates the “key learning” mode and the steering indicator lamp blinds twice.

(e) Use the well-matched keys to open and close the doors. If any of them cannot open the door, repeat the above
remote control key matching procedure.

CAUTION:
● In case of key learning failure, the remote control key before key learning is still valid.

● Only keys that have successfully completed the key learning procedure are valid and the others are
invalid.
