    The SJCCA Wind Ensemble Earned an Overall

    SAHS BAND
    2024 Spring Football Game
    ALL NEW Band Students are invited to participate as members of
    the Ancient City Regiment at our Spring Football Game on
    Wednesday, May 22nd.
    Students will need to be in the Band Room at 5:00pm to Warm-
    Up. We will march over to the Stadium at 5:30pm. The game
    begins at 6:00pm and should be over around 8:00pm.
    Students will be playing only in the Stands many of the stands
    tunes we will learn on Saturday, May 18th.
    Students will have halftime as a break to go to the restroom, visit
    the concession stand, and hang out.
    Students will be dismissed from the Band Room after the game.

    2024 SUMMER MARCHING CAMP DATES


    Band Parent Meeting FULL Band Camp #1- For EVERYONE
    Saturday, May 18th- 6:00pm-7:00pm for Monday- Thursday, July 8th- 12th-
    ALL Parents/ Guardians 12:00pm- 7:00pm

    Mini Band Day Camp- FOR EVERYONE


    FULL Band Camp #2- For EVERYONE
    Saturday, May 18th- 3:00pm-6:00pm
    Monday- Thursday, July 29th- August 1st
    Mini Band Camps- FOR EVERYONE 8:00am-5:00pm
    Mini Band Camp- Wednesday and Thursday, May 29th &
    May 30th- 9:00am-4:00pm Meet the Jackets Pep Rally
    Saturday, August 3rd- Time TBD
    SAHS BAND
    DRUM LINE CLINICS/ AUDITION INFO.
    Students will need to wear Tennis Shoes/ Shorts/ T-shirts.
    Students will need to bring Water to drink.
    Students will need to bring their own pair of snare drum sticks.

    Students will be taught all audition material/ music at the clinics. ALL Percussion students perform as
    part of the Drum Line through out the school year at Pep Rallies/ Parades/ Community Events/ and Football
    Games. (Students will be assigned to play either: Tenor Drums/ Snare Drum/ Bass Drum/ or Cymbals for
    the Drum Line. Students will also be assigned to play specific Mallet and Other Percussion Instruments
    needed for the Halftime Show at these Clinics/ Auditions as well. If a student misses the audition, they
    will be assigned to play an instrument that is not covered for the halftime show and assigned to cymbals
    for Drum Line.
