Thimphu

www.tajhotels.com
Taj Tashi reflects Bhutan’s rich heritage
and architecture. Its balance of traditional
Bhutanese design with contemporary
elegance is subtly brought to life by hand-
painted details.
Inspired by Bhutanese Dzong
architecture, the hotel has been built on three
themes - the “Dhungs,” the “Double Dorjes”
and “Clouds”.
And is crafted by artisans from
the famed Zorig Chusum School of arts and
crafts, some of who have worked on the
decorative paintings in the Palaces of the
Royal Family, and the Dzongs of Thimphu,
Punakha and Trongsa.
