KEY FEATURES

Foster Mathematical, Statistical researchers and Data Scientists who can support the
foundation of an information society.

The rapid progress of computers and the expansion of information

technology are bringing about significant transformations in our
lives and societies. In this increasingly interconnected world,
computer science plays a pivotal role as the fundamental technology
for constructing a vibrant and satisfying information-based society.
NSoMASA is dedicated to nurturing Mathematical and Statistical
researchers and Data Scientists who will contribute to establishing
the bedrock of this information society.

2
Advanced knowledge from Mathematics, Statistics and
Computer Science with technologies

To acquire advanced knowledge including technology, the School has

designed a curriculum built from three subject categories: (a)
Mathematics, Statistics & Computer Science courses, which cover the
fundamental topics in the discipline; (b) Advanced courses that open
the door to cutting-edge topics; and (c) Programming courses that
enable students to acquire various programming skills.

Practical Training in Programming Languages

Software programs serve as the foundation for various systems such

as Financial Analytics, People Analytics, Pharma Analytics, and many
others. At the school, students receive comprehensive instruction that
goes beyond programming in multiple languages. They are also
provided with practical training to develop a profound comprehension
of key concepts, including data structures, control structures, basic
algorithms, and the principles underlying software design and
development.

Research Projects that foster creativity and expressive power

Upon reaching their second year, all students engage in project work
under the supervision of academic mentors. Additionally, postgraduate
students participate in internships during the final semester of their
two-year program. Through conducting research and independently
tackling challenges, students cultivate their creativity and enhance their
ability to express themselves effectively.

For Deeper, Wider Knowledge and Skills

At our School, over 80 percent of graduate students progress to

postgraduate programs, enabling them to expand their knowledge,
develop advanced research skills, and engage in various project-based
learning. Some students choose to pursue their postgraduate studies
internationally. Upon completion of the master's program,
approximately 95 percent of postgraduate students enter the industry
with the support of placement assistance
