5. Start up

Warnings: When the printer is turned on, it is forbidden to plug or unplug any interface. If you
need to plug or unplug the cable, please turn off the printer first,otherwise it will burn the
PCB，no warranty. From 2022 Oct, print head cable have been connect well, don’t unplug it if
unnecessary.

◆ Make sure all cable connect well before turn on printer.

◆ Press the power switch button on the right side of controller to turn on printer.

◆ The blue light is on to prove the machine is starting up, the boot process takes around 50 seconds.Logo

and some warnings will be displays on screen during staring up.

6. Shut Down

◆ Stop printing before turn off.

◆ Press the power switch button to turn off printer.

◆ If the stop printing time is longer than the decap time of cartridge( Reference cartridge specifications),please

remove cartridge and cover it with cartridge clip.

7. Home Page

Tips: Printer will save automatically after you make any change. So there is no ‘save’ button.

Create a new file Open a file

Delete the selected content Add a test, date, picture, code, counter,
var code etc.

9. Date and Time Setting

② Press button.
③ Select the date and time, then press ‘Confirm’.

10. Message Edit

① Press on home page.

② Name the new file and press confirm. Then printer will auto return to home page.

③ Press on home page,then you can add text, var data, image, barcode, date and time, counter, var
code ,shift and scanner under the file.

red frame showing around it ,means it was selected.

Tips: No matter delete,move,zoom in , zoom out or rotate one content, you have to select it first
by pressing it.

10.3 Add Picture

③ InsertUSB disk and select one photo. Photo will be added successful. Support photo format: jpg, png, bmp, css,
web,etc.Pls use the configuration USB disk or other USB disk support Android.

Tips: Please make sure the photo name without any special character and space,otherwise printer
won’t read the photo.
Photo will be auto save in printer after adding.

10.4 Add Fix Barcode

① Press .

② Select the barcode type, fault-tolerant level and insert the text on ‘text’,then Press Then press to confirm.
The higher fault-tolerant value , the more complex code is generated, and easier to be scan out when some part of
the code is missing.

④ After insert date, you can preview the first 10 data in ‘ Data preview’ and set the start content and end content
on ‘Start’ and ‘End’.

10.8 Add Variable Code

② Insert USB disk with variable data.

③ Select a data from the ‘Text’, the first 10 message can be preview on ‘Data preview’ . And select the code type

and fault tolerant level of the code. The start message and end message can be set on ‘Start’ and ‘End’.

④ After setting, press to confirm.

10.9 Add GS1 Data Matrix

GS1 Data Matrix can be added under (fix barcode)and (variable code). Here take fix barcode for example.

③ Press .The AI (Application Identifiers )are for reference. When insert AI in “text”, have to use one of ()[]（）

［］e.g. the AI of batch number is 10, you should insert (10),[10],（10）or［10］.Make sure your input is according

to GS1 data matrix rules, otherwise printer will keep on reporting error until complete same as it.
④ Scan bar code, QR code etc, the content of code will show on printer and be printed.

10.10 Add Scanner

① Connect printer with a scanner by USB.

11. File

When the background color of file become green,

means this file is being used at present.

When press the white square, it will turn blue,means

this file is selected.

All print content is saved under each file. And print content shows directly without opening one by one.

12. Print Parameters

◆ ‘Voltage’ can be set from 7.5 to 13.0 according to ink cartridge specification.

◆ ‘Pulse width’ can be selected from 1.0 to 3.0 according to ink cartridge specification.

◆ ‘Speed’ ,there are 2 ways of speed. ‘Velocity’ and encoder. Velocity means printer will print at a fix speed and

don’t care what speed of production line. But ‘encoder’ will match production line speed. We recommend
‘encoder’.

◆ ‘Velocity’ can be selected from 0-999, it’s a reference value,not real speed. When setting 500, the print speed

is around 50m/min. Please note print speed will be different when dpi, grey level etc is different.

◆ ‘Encoder’ have to set the encoder direction, ppr and Cir.

◆ ‘Warming Temp’ isn’t available. When the working environment is ＜30℃, nozzle may be blocked, make

warming temp can solve it and get better print quality.

◆ ‘Print mode’ there are 2 ways: ‘sensor’ and ‘continuous printing’. when use ‘sensor’ mode have to connect with

a sensor, but when use ‘continuous printing’ no need.

◆ ‘Printhead’,when it’s single head printer, select 1.Double heads , select 2, etc. And you can set the offset and

mirror offset in ‘Print direction setting’.

◆ ‘Print direction setting ’,Each print head can be set separately ,such as offset, mirror etc.2,3 and 4 heads are

based on the first head, which can adjust the horizontal and vertical distance of 2, 3 and 4 heads to adjust the left
and right distance between several heads.

◆ ‘Cartridge type’, half inch for 12.7mm cartridges, one inch for 25.4mm cartridges. When you change printhead,

don’t forget to select the right cartridge type.

◆ ‘Print gap distance’,means the delay time between printer detecting objects and the real print.

◆ ‘Grey level’,the bigger number means darker print quality.

◆ ‘Repeat print’, means the printing repeat times after sensor trigger. E.g. when set 4, printer will print same

print content 4 times before next trigger.

13. Settings

◆ ‘Time’ reference to 9.

◆ ‘Language’ reference to 8.

◆ ‘Reset’ , all the settings will auto return to the default factory settings. After reset, don’t forget to set the

setting e.g. voltage and pulse width.

◆ ‘Upgrade’ ,insert the USB disk with upgrade file, then select the upgrade file, printer will auto upgrade. Before

upgrade, it’s better to reset printer first. And after upgrade, don’t forget to set the settings e.g. voltage and pulse
width.

◆ ‘Font’,font can be added freely by USB disk. Support font format: TTF,OTF,WOFF, WOFF2,SVG.

◆ ‘Purge’,when print quality isn’t good or white lines showing, use this function can solve it in some degree. It’s

better that both use this function and wipe nozzle with non woven.

◆ ‘buzzer’,closure and open is available.

◆ ‘Export log ’ is for manufacturer to diagnose the problems of printer. Before export, have to insert USB disk first.

Once press it, it will auto export to USB disk.

◆ ‘Export statistics ’ is not available.

14. Print & Ink Calculation

Press on Home page, printer will start print.

◆ On locked printer,The possible printout is calculated on the base of left ink. It will be different when print

content, dpi , grey level and left ink is different . the possible printout will change automatically according to the
left ink.when the left ink is less than 30 %, the ink level will turn from green to red. When ink run out, printer will
stop printing and alarm light will turn red and make sound if connecting to an alarm light.

◆ On unlocked printer,the possible printout is calculated on the base of a full ink cartridge not left ink. It will be

different when print content, dpi and grey level is different.But it won’t automatically change when the left ink is
different. The ink level won’t change and alarm light won’t alarm even ink has ran out.

Tips: When pause more than 20 minutes, printer will remind you press start again.

15. How to change printer from 1/2 inch into 1 inch or from 1 inch into
1/2 inch ?
◆ Printer default is 1/2 inch. There are 2 steps to change it into 1 inch.

① Change the plate into 1 inch on print head .

1/2 inch nozzle protector 1 inch nozzle protector

② Change cartridge type into ‘One inch’ then confirm. Printer will restart.

Same steps when change 1 inch into 1/2 inch.

Tips: Please note picture won’t auto magnify when change printer from 1/2 inch into 1 inch.
Make sure your picture is big enough before printing by 1 inch cartridge.
