R&D LEADERSHIP
With innovation in its DNA, Arctech dedicates itself to delivering the most efficient, reliable and intelligent solar products.
With over 190 R&D professionals, Arctech had been granted more than 290 patents by the end of 2021.
Arctech's heavy investment in the R&D area has reflected its dedication in delivering the best products in the market.
Arctech has founded “Research Center for Intelligent Tracking and Racking Systems” in the Jiangsu Province, and the
“Solar Tracking Systems Lab” in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. Both the research center and the lab have been
accredited by authorities at the provincial and municipal level. The lab has been awarded the TMP lab accreditation by
TÜV SÜD. In 2021, the company has become the first in the PV industry worldwide to own a wind tunnel laboratory.
Equipped with the world-leading testing capabilities of structural static pressure and structural dynamic response,
the laboratory can test the effect of wind on trackers at speeds of 60m/s-90m/s, a speed which would cover most
likely real-world scenarios. The technical database will be leveraged as the source of basic design parameters for
product design, R&D and product structure design verification in the future.
With exceptional technical know-how, Arctech plays an important role in drafting and revising international and nation-
al tracker standards to ensure durability, reliability, flexibility and performance. Constant Temperature and

INDEPENDENT SMART TRACKING SOLUTIONS SkyLine II
Stable, Easy to install, Cost effective
How to Choose
the Right Solar Trackers? The SkyLine II tracking system is a single-row tracking system developed by Arctech, the first 1P (one-in-portrait) tracker
designed with a pentagonal torque tube and the synchronous multi-point drive mechanism, which rigidifies the tracker to
the point of enabling 0deg wind stow mode. This is critical to keep tolerable panel pressure levels on the new large-format
modules and prevent module cracks & damages. Moreover, SkyLine II has a wind stow speed up to 22m/s, the highest
in the industry so far, which leads to up to 2% more energy yield per year.
SkyLine II utilizes the fewest posts per MW in the industry (200 posts/MW), which consequently decreases Engineering
Procurement Construction's cost. The standard product of the SkyLine II tracking system supports up to 120 solar modules which
could be adjusted according to string configuration and topography. The product is equipped with Arctech's new-generation
artificial intelligence control box, which can enable the PV power plant to obtain up to 7% of additional energy yield.
