Please tell me about the last time you visited a museum. What did you do?

Why was it memorable?

Model answer.
Last week I went to the National Folk Museum with my friends from the US.
I wanted to show them some Korean traditional artwork.
We were fascinated by many kinds of cooking and writing utensils that were used in
past
days. As the curator was explaining, my cell phone suddenly rang.
I felt so bad and my face turned red. Anyway, I was so impressed by how everything
was so well preserved.
My friends thanked me for taking them to the museum.

It's a five-story building located in the center of Seoul.

The museum is on the right side of the tall building.
There is a huge statue at the entrance.
Outdoor exhibitions are particularly popular in summer.
You can get a brochure for the museum, either at the ticket office or at the
Information
Center.
The atmosphere of the museum is really calm and people keep their voices down.
Children over 12 must pay an admission fee, but seniors over 60 get free admission.
I appreciated the art at the art museum.
I remember one time I went to a small gallery in Jongno.
I couldn't believe the great collection of art.
I couldn't take my eyes off the antiques displayed there.
The curator explained the historical facts very well.
I make sure to turn off my cell phone before entering.
After the exhibition, I always keep the brochure.
I take time to go around to the booths.
I was so annoyed because there were some people talking loudly.
I didn't use the audio guide, so I didn't understand anything.
I was stopped by a security guard when I was taking a picture of my favorite
painting.
I almost hit the sculpture by mistake.
After the exhibition, my friend and I enjoyed a cup of coffee at the outdoor cafe,
and
that was a very special moment for us.
Everything was unexpected, and we were very disappointed.
We were deeply moved by the painter's passionate works.
I feel good when I see famous artwork.
I like the museum because it helps me to understand history.
When I'm bored with my routine, spending time in a museum is a nice change.
I was mesmerized by an antique that was 200 years old.

You indicated in the survey that you go to museums. Can you tell me about your
favorite museum?

Model Answer
My favorite museum is Seoul History Museum in Seoul.
It is an urban history museum that shows the history and culture of Seoul City.
Every time I visit this place, I feel like I am traveling to Seoul of the past.
However, they display not only old artifacts, but also the latest contemporary art.
Opening hours are from 9am to 7pm, so I go there on weekends rather than on
weekdays.

What do you do when you go to the museum? Do you have a special routine when you go
to the museum?
Model Answer
When I go to the museum, first of all, I check the schedule of the exhibition and
learn about the exhibition as much as possible.
I usually make plans with my friends, but if they're busy, I just go by myself.
When I go to the exhibition, I upload pictures and my reviews to SNS to share them
with people.
After the exhibition, I like to go to a nice restaurant and talk about the
exhibition with
my friends.

What was the most impressive exhibit when you went to the museum? Why was it so
impressive?
Please tell me about it.

Model Answer
I remember when I visited a dinosaur museum in the province last year.
There were exhibits of dinosaur fossils and bones of extinct animals.
It was a fairly interesting museum, not found in other small cities.
I thought that it would be a good educational place for children and some adults
who are
interested in these kinds of exhibitions.
After that, if I knew anyone traveling to this province, I would definitely
recommend
this museum and I am willing to visit it again.

My friends and I also like to go to a museum. Please ask me three or four questions
to find out what museums my friends and I go to.

Model Answer
