Unit 1
When it comes to holidays, we cannot forget Lunar New Year, also known as Tet in
Viet Nam. The occasion is expected the most by Vietnamese people every year. Tet is
an occasion for families to reunite and do a lot of activities, such as: cleaning and
decorating the house, having and preparing traditional meals. Prior to Tet, families
would prepare traditional foods, such as: Chung cake, candies and fruits. Another
common practice during Tet is to decorate house with ornaments and flowers. Peach
blossoms in the North, apricot blossoms in the South. One special thing I really like at
Tet is receiving lucky money from my family and relatives. In traditional, people also
visit relatives and friends to wish them all a happy new year. For me, this is great time
to think about what we have done in the previous year and take to make plans for the
upcoming year.

The person I admire is famous singer who is an icon of pop music and she is Britney
Spears. At the age of 18, her first album is “baby one more time” became biggest hit
for singers her age. She had sold out more 30 million just for this album and this
milestone had pushed her name become one of the legends of pop music. She appeared
in the Guinness world records book as the most searched name of 2000s period. She
won countless honorable for her contributions, and everyone call her “ The princes of
pop”. Beside her singing career, she also is also a producer, song writer, actress. If I
have a chance to meet her, I will hug her and take a picture with her.
UNIT 3
Staying up late is becoming increasingly popular, especially among young people.
Most people are aware that staying up late is harmful to their health, but what are its
harmful effect? Firstly, staying up late regularly will cause memory loss. Sleep is best
time for brain to rest and relax. when you staying up late, you are increasing the
amount of information you need remember while your brain’s rest time. Secondly,
staying up late will reduce eyesight. Staying up late regularly means your eyes have to
work in low-light condition, and over time, your eyesight will decrease significantly.
To not affect your health, have some measures for staying up late are to take a warm
bath before bed, exercise regularly, create comfortable and quite environment.

2 days 1 night is my favorite reality show. It is a fun-to-watch where the players strive
to complete clever games and missions at a landmark to win the race. All of the
participants in the show are celebrities, such as: famous the Mcs, models, actors
actresses and comedians, thereby making it capture public’s attention. I like it because
there are countless funny moments in the show that make me laugh to tears. The
contents of questions and answers were so funny and creative and the mismatching by
the players make everything hilarious. Watching this show is really amusing and
entertaining.

Today, we can learn language every time, everywhere through a mobile application at
your fingertips and an application I’m learning English is Doulingo. This application
has a lot of advantages. First, it is easily accessible. Whatever you are a homemaker,
student or professional who maintains a tight schedule, anyone can use Duolingo at
their own comfort with its interactive interface. Second, everything is free. It is
absolutely free, you can access everything. But as everything, nothing is picture-
perfect. Doulingo also has a disadvantage. You can still overcome these disadvantages
while learning on this platform by practicing at home based on podcasts, movies and
getting acquainted native speaker to improve yourself abilities.
UNIT 3
Our health is limited. If we don’t know how to take care of it properly, we will get sick
and not be healthy. To live a healthy life, I have a reasonable diet and paly sports
regularly. I eat a lot of fish, meat and vegetables. I limit eat fast food and food that
contain a lot of fat. I try drink 2 litters of water every day. Drinking plenty of water
helps digestive process work better. At the same time, when the body is well-hydrated,
my skin also be more beautiful. I usually play sports, such as: volleyball, badminton...
due to busy study, I cannot go to bed early. However, I will not to try stay up too late.
Thanks to a scientific diet along with reasonable time to play sports my health is
relatively good. I rarely sick. To benefit myself, I will try maintain healthy lifestyle.
UNIT 5
Today, we can learn language every time, everywhere through a mobile application at
your fingertips and an application I’m learning English is Duolingo. When my parents
bought for me a mobile phone, I immediately downloaded Duolingo. This application
are very convenient and easily accessible. For example, when I’m on the bus, I can
access it to study. At home, I often complete my homework then access Duolingo
study. To be able to study effectively, I often use 3 methods. First: spend reasonable
time. I spend 1-2 hours to study English every day. Second, records knowledge. It is
records each lesson, the topic will have new vocab and new grammar. Finally, review
knowledge by taking test. Using Duolingo is not that difficult, its like a game.
Doulingo helps myself study English easily and I feel very interesting
