STUDY PROGRAMME: BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (BBA)
I am pleased to inform you that the Admissions committee of St Peter’s University has offered you
a Bursary as a student to pursue studies in the above program at St Peter’s University.
1. OFFER OF ADMISSION
This is a provisional offer made, and you are required to take it up within One Month after
the Beginning of the Semester scheduled for 06th MAY 2024. Failure to do so will
automatically lead to your place being forfeited to another candidate.
2. REGISTRATION
Full registration is subject to satisfactory verification of the qualifications stated in the
application form by the Office of the Academic Registrar; upon payment of all prescribed
fees each semester. For purpose of registration, you are required to present the following:
(i) Original Uganda Certificate of Education and Uganda Advanced Certificate of
Education (or its equivalent) plus two photocopies of them.
(ii) Birth certificate or/and any National Identification documents.
(iii) Identity card from the previous school
NOTE 1: Falsification and or impersonation of academic documents; if found out at or after
registration, leads to automatic cancellation of your admission and may call for further
possible prosecution by courts of law.
3. PAYMENT
After receiving this admission letter, obtain a bank slip from the University Bursar and pay
to the bank. Return the slips to the University Bursar after banking and collect a clearance
card from the same office. No cash is allowed at the University. Please note that you will
not be considered as a bona fide student of SPU until you present a clearance card from
the bursar.
4. WITHDRAWING FROM THE UNIVERSITY
If a student declines the offer to join the University after paying some fees, penalties will
be administered by withholding fees paid and stipulated as follows:
a) Withdrawing 15 days before the commencement 20%
b) Withdrawing 7-14 days before commencement 50%
c) Withdrawing 1-6 days before commencement 80%
d) Withdrawing on start day and thereafter 100%
5. REGULATIONS
You are strongly advised to obtain a copy of joining instructions and read them
carefully. Get yourself also a fresher’s orientation information booklet which includes
other University rules and regulations. Ignorance of the rules and regulations is no
defense, if you ever run into a problem in your programme.
6. RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION
There is accommodation on campus; the Dean of Students can advise you if you are
seeking the same. But for various social and sports activities, students shall be attached to
different halls.
You will thus be required to pay Functional fees totalling Uganda shillings 400,000/= (Four
Hundred thousand Uganda shillings) per Semester. This does not cater for meals and
accommodation.
