Drainable Louvers
Drainable Louvers provide drainage for rain coming in
contact with the face/blade of the louver. Drainable
Louvers offer high free area and high air flow with a
low pressure drop where minimal water migration is
acceptable. They are economical and available in
a variety of blade and frame styles.

Storm Resistant Louvers – Horizontal, Vertical, and Combination Series

Engineered to provide protection from rain penetration, while
offering good airflow, CS Storm Resistant Louvers are available in
vertical and horizontal blade configurations to integrate with your
building.
They are ideal when you:

• Can’t use a large plenum due to cost or space considerations
• Plan to house sensitive equipment adjacent to the louver system

• AMCA tested and certified to be up to 99% effective against
wind driven rain
• Chevron style blades allow for long spanning and larger
sections with minimal splice joints
• Available accessories include bird or insect screen, sill pan,
insulated or non-insulated blank off panels.
• Hidden mullion options available (model specific) for sleek
continuous line appearance
• Modular capabilities (model specific) with faux blade for

Thinline Louvers
Use Thinline Louvers where louvers greater than 7.62cm (3")
louver depth is not practical. These shallow blade louvers,
which provide high free area, are ideal for thin wall and
curtain wall applications where minimal depth is required
and water mitigation is not a concern.

Sand Trap Louvers

Sand Trap Louvers are specially designed to protect air
intake from wind-driven sand. Our unique design combines
rows of vertical blades to separate sand from the air stream.
The sand is then safely channeled away on the sloping sill of
the louver.
