KOTTAKKAL FAROOK ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE N.S.S UNIT HAS DECIDED TO HOLD A
SEVEN DAYS CAMP AT A.U.P.S PARAPPUR BETWEEN DECEMBER 22 TO 28 . THE THEME OF
CAMP IS “ മാലിന്യമുക്ത നാളെക്കായി യുവ കേരളം “
IN COLLABORATION WITH PARAPPUR GRAMA PANCHAYATH CAMPING OF THE MESSAGE
“ നാളെക്കായി യുവ കേരളം “ COMPREHENSIVE SURVEY OF WASTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
AND OTHER SOCIAL ACTIVITES ARE BEING CARRIED OUT A PART OF THE CAMP.

CAMP STARTED ON DECEMBER 22, 2023.AT 3:00 PM. WELCOME SPEECH WAS DELIVERED
BY MUSTHAFA SIR (N.S.S PROGRAM OFFICER) PROF. M. ABDUL AZEEZ, (PRINCIPAL OF
KOTTAKKAL FAROOK ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE) DELIVERED PRESIDENT ADDRESS.

On december 23, 2023, the second day of kottakkal farook arts and science college's nss
unit 213 seven-days camp started with a hot tea by the food committee of the day. Then
the volunteers got ready for the warmup exercises by the Mustafa sir at 6:00. The morning
exercise made volunteers freshen up. The cleaning committee of the day engaged in the
cleaning and health care of the volunteers. After a little break for the morning chores, at
7:30, the food committee served the breakfast. At 8:30, after breakfast, the program
committee conducted the morning assembly. The flag hosting done by the nss program
officer, and they presented the news of the day. The committee published a newspaper.
At 9:00 am, the volunteers went for the inspection survey of waste disposal systems in
Parappur panchayath, which was received as field work for the nss volunteers. The
volunteers split up and went to different wards in the panchayath for the survey. The
survey is based on the local institutions and schools. The volunteers get the chance to
engage with different types of people. The volunteers returned to the camp at 12:30, and
the food committee served lunch at 1:00 pm. At 2:30, after a break, the afternoon session
of ncc officer lt. Lukmanul hakeem started. The topic of the session was 'connect,
communicate, and conquer'. The session was awesome, and through the session,
volunteers built a strong bond of unity and team work.at 4:30 pm, volunteers took an
evening tea break. After the break, volunteers got engaged in different physical activities
and games. At 7:00 pm volunteers gathered for the cultural programs, and the cultural
committee conducted and led the program. At 8:30 p.m., after the cultural program, the
food committee served the dinner. After the dinner, the volunteers gathered in the open
area for the evaluation of the day. The evaluation committee of the day evaluated the
volunteers work and appreciated and criticized it for its better performance. At 10:00 p.m.
the volunteers went to their rooms to sleep. And the second day of the camp ended there

On december 24, 2023 third day of kottakkal Farook Arts and Science NSS unit 213's

7 days started at 5:30 am with a cup of tea given by todays food committee. Volunteers
fresh up and went for exercise. By 7:00 exercise finished and gathered at open area for
having breakfast. After breakfast, program committee arranged all for assembly and
assembly done by around 9: 30 am. At 9:45 am everyone went for the inspection survey of
waste disposal systems of Parappur grama panchayat which was received as field work.
After returning to camp spot, food committee served food at 1:00. After lunch afternoon
session started at 2:30 by Mujeeb sir, staff secretary, kfasc on topic yoga.

It was a good orientation session. After the session everyone had a hot cup of tea given by
food committee at 7:00 pm. Program committee arranged stage settings for conducting
cultural program. At sharp 8:30 pm we had dinner. The evaluation committee gathered up
all for evaluation and everyone slept by 10:00 pm. 3rd day ended like this.

On december 25, 2023 the 4th day of kottakkal farook arts and science college nss unit 213
seven day camp started at 5:00 am with cup of tea. By 5:30 am volunteers fresh up and
started with yoga session with suryanamaskar.

after yoga session volunteers gathered at open area by 8:00 am. Each volunteers had
their breakfast . At sharp 8:45 am everyone gathered for assembly and program
committee presented the newspaper and all. After morning session volunteers went for
the inspection survey of waste disposal system in Parappur panchayath. Except food
committee. By 12:50 pm, all the volunteers reached to camp after completing the survey.
And food committee served lunch on sharp 1:00pm .at 2:30 after break, the afternoon
session started. The class was about team building.
The session was very helpful for volunteers, to build a perfect team and to lead a group
with all qualities. After the session , the volunteers gathered at open area for evening tea.
Then volunteers took a break for physical activities and games. At 6:00 pm, the volunteers
started the preparation for Christmas celebration. At 7:00pm program committee started
cultural program, cultural committee lead the whole program.at 9:00pm food committee
served food for volunteers. After dinner program committee arranged open area for the
evaluation of the day, evaluation committee appreciated and criticized all group for their
better performance. At 10:00pm volunteers went to their rooms. And the 4 th day ended.

on december 26, 2023, the fifth day of the kottakkal farook arts and science college's
nss unit 213 seven-day's camp started with a cup of tea by the food committee. Then the
volunteers get ready for the yoga. After yoga, the volunteers engaged in morning chores.

at 7:30, the food committee served breakfast. At 8:30, the program committee conducted
the morning assembly. The flag hosting done by the guest teacher of the day. At 9:00am
after the assembly, the volunteers went for cleaning session. It got over and at 1:00 pm,
lunch was served. At 2:00 pm, "CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP"

session was organized by district youth team” MALINYA MUKTHANAVA KERALAM

CAMPAIGN SECRETARIAT MALAPPURAM”. After lunch at 3:00pm, after a little break,
volunteers started cleaning in different areas of the school. Volunteers put a lot of effort
into cleaning and were praised by the teachers. At 4:30pm, the evening tea served by the
food committee. At 7:00pm, cultural programs started.at 8:30, the dinner is served by the
food committee conducted an evaluation of the day. At 10:00pm, the volunteers went to
their rooms to sleep. And the fifth day of the camp ended here.

0n december 27,2023, the sixth day of kottakkal farook arts and science college
nss unit 213, started yoga, exercise led by nss program officer. They all gathered at the
open area for breakfast at 8:00. The assembly started at 8:45am . Today’s main project
was to clean the whole school, surroundings and grow bag cultivation.

The volunteers did their work amazingly completed on time. At 1:00 pm volunteers
gathered up at open area and started having their food. After lunch seniors’ volunteers
came to camp.

We had interactive session and played some games with them. At 4:45 pm seniors left the
camp. At 6 :00 pm ,the cultural program started. That was the last cultural program. In
between the cultural program alumni members of nss visited us after they left we had our
dinner, the dinner was sponsored by teachers. And we all gathered up for share our
experience of camp.

0n december 28,2023, the seventh day of kottakkal farook arts and science college nss
unit 213, 7 days’ camp started at 5:00am and started yoga session by Mujeeb sir staff
secretary of kottakkal farook arts and science college at 6:15am. After short break,
teachers served food to volunteers. The assembly was conducted by volunteers. Every
volunteers sang nss geetham with emotion . Teachers shared their experiences of camp.
Then the volunteers started the grow bag cultivation.
At 12:30 pm, the volunteers were sent back to their homes. The volunteers were too
emotional while leaving the camp.
