A complete Angel Reiki Treatment

A. Preparation

i. The Environment

* Make sure you won't be interrupted by Children, Visitors or Pets. Unplug

the Telephone.
* Should be quiet, free from interruption, private, uncluttered, with no
strong smells, at a comfortable temperature, with clean toilet facilities.
* It is nice to have flowers, nice smells, jug of water and glasses ready.
Subdued lighting.
* Place client facing away from direct light, e.g. window
* Soft music to greet client.
* Ask client to remove metal jewelry, watches, shoes, and loosen belts

ii Self Preparation

* The practitioner should have clean hands, clean breath, clean and
appropriate clothes. Wash your hands before and after client treatment.
* Check body hygiene, e.g. don't eat garlic, fish etc when you know you will
be giving a treatment (A drop of good quality peppermint oil can make one's
breath most pleasant).
* Wear comfortable clothing, cream or pale colour is good.
* Check for any 'contra indications' (pacemakers, epilepsy etc).
* Sit quietly with your hands on your legs.
* Say: “O Holy Angels and Archangels, help me to bring about peace in all
that I Am, so I reflect the compassion and healing of God in all that I am
and do”.
* Say: “Raphael, Angel of the Sun, enter my center and give the fire of life to
my whole body”. Visualize the Sei Hei Ki symbol encircling you.
* Say: “Gabriel, Angel of Life, enter my limbs and give strength to my whole
body”. Visualize the Cho Ku Rei symbol encircling you.
* Say: “Michael, Angel of Earth, enter my generative organs and regenerate
my whole body”. Visualize the DKM symbol encircling you.
* Say: “Uriel, Angel of Fire, enter my heart and transform me with the Love
and Fire of God and give fire of God to my whole body”. Visualize the
HSZSN (HonShaZeShoNen) symbol encircling you.

* Visualize these Archangels and their symbols in the middle of the room, on
the four walls, ceiling and floor to clear the room of negative energies and
fill the room with light.
* Then say a prayer asking your guides and the client's guides as well as the
angels and all the healing forces of the Universe to work with you to protect
the process and create the most powerful healing possible.
* Records should be kept of name, address, dates of treatments, cost, any
relevant medical problems and medication this. Keep to boundaries of what
Reiki and what is not.

iii. For client's comfort

* Make sure your client is warm and comfortable on the treatment couch.
* Place your hands on your client slowly and gently, and remove them in the
same way.
* Keep your fingers together. When your hands are over the client's eyes, be
careful not to press on the eye lids or against their nostrils.
* When working on the client's head, be conscious not to breathe in their face.
Turn your head away slightly to breathe.
* When working on the client's neck, take care not to let the weight of your
hands rest on their throat.
* Do not lean on your client.

B. Treatment
i. Before starting the treatment, ask the client to lie
down on his back with palms up (as if ready to
accept something) (as shown in figure) and feel
thankful for, and open to, all the healing energies
that are coming to him/her. You can also ask
him/her to focus on any pleasant feelings that
develop and to let go of distress.

ii. Spend a few minutes talking with the client to gain rapport. Explain the
Angel Reiki process and the hand positions (These are the same hand
positions you learnt in Reiki Level I), and answer any questions the client
may have. Inform the client that you are not a doctor, and that this treatment
does not replace a medical treatment by him and that in addition to this
treatment, he should regularly visit his medical practitioner.

iii. Stand at your client's head and assume the position for the required hand
position. Make sure to connect to the earth and ground yourself. (Hand
positions have been given in Reiki Level I. You may place your hands on
those positions, as required.)

iv. Request all Archangels (or any one whom you want for a specific purpose)
by saying: “O Holy Angels and Archangels, help me to bring about peace
in all that I Am, so I reflect the compassion and healing of God in all that
I am and do” and grace this h ealin g s ess io n for
Mrs/Mr/Ms........................................... with your august presence.

- Say: “Raphael, Angel of the Sun, enter the patient’s body and give the fire
of life to the patient’s whole body”. Visualize the Sei Hei Ki symbol on the
body of the patient.

- Say: “Gabriel, Angel of Life, enter the patient’s body and give strength to
patient’s whole body”. Visualize the Cho Ku Rei symbol on the body of the
patient.

- Say: “Michael, Angel of Earth, enter the patient’s body and regenerate
patient’s whole body”. Visualize the DKM symbol on the body of the
patient.

- Say: “Uriel, Angel of Fire, enter the patient’s body and transform him/her
with the Love and Fire of God and give fire of God to patient’s whole
body”. Visualize the HSZSN (HonShaZeShoNen) symbol on the body of
the patient.

v. Say the word Reiki and it will begin to flow. Reiki is always ready to flow
and it will do so whenever you want it to. Simply placing your hands on
someone with the intention of giving a treatment will be enough to start it
flowing. It is not necessary to meditate or concentrate or go into an
altered state to use Reiki. Even when you are talking with the client, it
works.

vi. Rub your hands together to generate energy and warmth.

vii. Begin the standard treatment with the specific hand positions. Assume
the first treatment position on the head and proceed through all positions,
spending 3-5 minutes on each. Visualise Archangels and their Symbols on
those positions, stating their names thrice. E.g. If you are visualizing
Gabriel (ChoKuRei), say ChoKuRei, ChoKuRei, ChoKuRei.

viii. Remember to draw or visualise the concerned Archangel and its Symbol
over any areas that need special attention.

ix. While giving Angel Reiki, meditate on the Angel Reiki energies, and on the
consciousness of Angel Reiki allowing your consciousness to become one
with the Angel Reiki consciousness. Also, your mind will be one with the
client's mind when giving a treatment, so project positive thoughts to the
client during the treatment, such as I Know I am healed, I Know I am
solving my problems, or other affirmations or positive thoughts.
x. Continue for sometime and let the energy flow.
xi. Chances are you will receive messages, signs or a strong intuition.
xii. End the treatment by sealing the client's energy field by drawing the Reiki
Power Symbol on the client's body/aura and covering it with your hand
briefly and stating to yourself : “I completely seal this Angel Reiki
treatment with divine love and wisdom”. Brushing down the aura from the
head to the feet also helps to complete the treatment.
xiii. After sometime thank all the Archangels whom you called for assisting you.
xiv. Give the recipient a glass of water, explaining that Reiki can have a
detoxifying effect.
xv. Always ask the patient his experience of Angel Reiki treatment. If he
wishes to do so, listen attentively. It is important for your development to
share the experience by giving and receiving feedback. He may feel he
wants to share something from his life experience that has been raised
during the session, therefore it is important to practice some simple listening
skills.
