User Manual of Windows 11

Welcome to Windows 11! We're thrilled to introduce you to the latest and greatest
operating system from Microsoft and In this user manual we'll walk you through
the exciting new features and enhancements that Windows 11 has to offer.

Fresh and Modern User Interface


Windows 11 comes with a fresh and modern user interface that is designed to be
intuitive and user-friendly and The Start Menu has been redesigned with Live Tiles
that provide real time information , updates. The Taskbar is more streamlined and
the Action Center provides quick access to notifications and settings.

Virtual Desktops
Windows 11 introduces Virtual Desktops which allow you to create and switch
between multiple desktops for better organization and productivity. You can have
different apps and windows open on each desktop making it easy to switch
between different projects or tasks.
To create a Virtual Desktop, click on the Task View icon on the Taskbar or press
the Windows key + Tab. Then click on the "+ New Desktop" button to create a new
desktop and You can switch between Virtual Desktops by clicking on the Task
View icon or using the keyboard shortcut Windows key + Ctrl + Left/Right arrow.

Cortana
Cortana your personal digital assistant is now even more powerful in Windows 11
and Cortana can help you with tasks such as setting reminders, sending emails,
finding files , answering questions. You can also use Cortana to search the web,
play music or more.
To activate Cortana click on the search bar on the Taskbar or press the Windows
key + S and You can then type or speak your query to Cortana.

Microsoft Edge
Windows 11 comes with the new Microsoft Edge browser, which is faster, more
secure and more efficient than ever and With features like built-in support for
PDFs, reading mode and Cortana integration, Microsoft Edge is designed to
provide a seamless browsing experience.
Windows Update
Windows 11 has made updates more user-friendly by allowing you to choose when
and how to install updates and You can now schedule updates and set active hours
during which your device will not restart for updates. This gives you more control
over when updates are installed, ensuring that your device stays up to date without
interrupting your work or activities.
To schedule updates go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update >
Change active hours and You can also defer updates for a certain period of time by
clicking on the "Pause updates for 7 days" button.
