Requirements:
Length: 30 seconds to 1 minute
Your “pitch” is how/why your chosen theme is connected to The Odyssey, you are selling the
connection between your object and the chosen theme
Analysis of the specific theme you chose
Must include two pieces of evidence from The Odyssey (use MLA citations)
The evidence must be embedded into your pitch (even when you are reading it aloud)
Your personal connection to this theme
Proper grammar and mechanics

Script: Have you ever been stuck in a moment where your mom called you or you are trying to call your
mom but your phone died. If you have, listen up. Because we have created a new product to help you with
that problem. This new phone can connect you to any family member or close friend without worrying about
wifi or battery charge. This connects to the story because while odysseus was miles away he was still think
about his family and his family was thinking about him but they had no way to connect with them. Penelope
and Telemachus are still grieving for him and that his father (homer, end of book 11),Now Penelope
sank down, holding the weapon on her knees, and drew her husband’s great bow out, and sobbed
and bit her lip and let the salt tears flow. ( Homer, line 16-19, book 21) . A way how this reflects in my life is
when I would go to places with no wifi like school its hard to connect with my parent.
