Welcome to The Home Depot! Thank you for choosing to join our team.
Taking Care of our People is one of our core values and as part of that,
we have created this portal to give you access to training that you must
complete before you report to your store. You will be able to access this
website from the comfort of your home and launch your learning in
English or French.
Note: The New Hire Learning site is optimized for desktop or a laptop
computer.
INTERNAL USE
CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT
When you open the New Hire Learning site for the first time, you will be
required to create a new account to access your courses.
Start by clicking here and click in the checkbox next to ‘I’m not a robot’.
You will be taken to the sign-up form.

INTERNAL USE
To create your account, you will need to enter the following details in
the form. All fields are mandatory. Be sure to enter your name that was
provided to The Home Depot.

A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided.
Upon receipt, click the ‘confirm’ button in that email and log into the
system to access your courses. Be sure to check your ‘junk mail’ or
‘spam’ folder if you don’t receive the email. If you miss this step you will
not be able to log into the site, so be sure to confirm!
INTERNAL USE
LOGGING IN ONCE ACCOUNT IS CREATED
Access the New Hire Learning site, enter your email address and the
password you created in the respective fields, and click ‘sign-in’.
If you need to, you can reset your password by clicking ‘forgot password’
on the sign-in page.

INTERNAL USE
DASHBOARD
This is the page you will see once you log into the system. You can now
launch the first course assigned to you by clicking on the corresponding
tile in the ‘Courses’ section.
Courses can only be taken in the order that they appear on this screen,
from left to right. You cannot skip any of the content.
INTERNAL USE
You can also click on your initials in the top-right corner of the screen to
access settings.
Here, you can see your personal details, set your preferred language, set
a new password, or log out.
Note: You will not need to use the ‘chat’ and ‘notifications’ icons next to
your initials.
If you need any assistance with anything on the website, please reach
out to your HR representative and they will guide you.
INTERNAL USE
You can go back to the dashboard by clicking the ‘back’ button.
You can also click on ‘program view’ in the top bar to go back to
the dashboard anytime.
You can launch the course in the language you prefer. This will
open the course in a new tab or window.
Note: If needed, in some courses, you may have to ‘allow popups’
in your browser to access all the content in the course.
Once you complete the course, you should click on ‘press to
continue after completing’ button to go to the next course.
INTERNAL USE
Once you complete the course, close this tab/window and go back to the
tab where you launched the course from and click on the ‘press to
continue after completing’ button to go to the next course.
INTERNAL USE
Note: You will only be able to access the next course after you click on
the ‘press to continue after completing’ button. Trying to click on this
button without completing the course will show you an error in the top
right corner.
Follow the same process to launch and complete all the courses
assigned to you.
You can track your progress and see which courses have been marked
complete by reviewing the dashboard, observing the ‘checkmarks’
presented in the top right corner of each tile for the courses you have
successfully completed.
INTERNAL USE
Note: You will have to complete all courses assigned to you before you
report to the store. Your HR representative will be able to process your
payroll only after all the assigned courses are marked complete.
If you face issues while doing any of the training, reach out to your HR
representative and they will guide you, or use the technical support
option on the site.

The site itself provides basic technical support. To access simply click on
the “Contact Us” option at the sign-in page and follow the instructions.
