How to enroll user/admin
1. Tap the main menu button on the upper left
corner of the screen.
2. Tap the user button.
3. Tap the add button.
4. Input preferred user ID.
5. On this menu, you will see many options on
setting up the user’s identity information:
• Name – to input name of the user.
• UniqueID – to input user’s unique identifier.
• Fingerprint – to register user’s fingerprint.
How to register user’s fingerprint:
1. Tap the Fingerprint button.
2. You can choose on which finger you prefer to register.
3. Place your preferred finger on the fingerprint sensor (You will
register your finger twice)

Note: You can register multiple of fingerprints.

• Face – to register user’s face.


How to register user’s face:
1. Tap the Face button.
1. Aligned your face on the camera.
2. Tap start and wait until the device is successfully scans your face then
tap “OK”.
• Password – to input user’s password.
Note: You can make a password of up to 8 characters.
• Card – to register the user’s RFID card
How to register user’s RFID card
1. Tap Card button.
2. Place your card on the sensor indicated by a card logo.

* You can make a user as an administrator. Note: Setting up an administrator


will lock the main menu and it requires an admin’s user ID and biometrics to
access it.

How to view users:
1. Tap the main menu button on the upper left
corner of the screen.
2. Tap the user button.
3. Tap the view button.
4. The view menu will list all the enrolled users.
- You can see the user’s information by tapping on
the user’s id (the bubble icon on the left side of
the user’s row).

How to modify user’s information:


1. Tap the main menu button on the upper left
corner of the screen.
2. Tap the user button.
3. Tap the modify button then input user ID.
4. Tap the option you wish to modify. After modifying
tap “Save”.
How to delete a user:
1. Tap the main menu button on the upper left
corner of the screen.
2. Tap the user button.
3. Tap the delete button.
4. Input the user’s id.

How to delete all users:
1. Tap the main menu button on the upper left
corner of the screen.
2. Tap the user button.
3. Tap “Delete All” button.
Note: Deleting all users can also be access at the Main
Menu > System button > Database.
How to check in/check out:
1. On the screen, tap the screen to show the options
below.
2. Tap In/Out then proceed with the biometric scan.
* You can schedule the time for check in/check out by
going to Main Menu > Application.
How to delete logs:
1. Tap the main menu button on the upper left
corner of the screen.
2. Tap the System button.
3. Tap Database and look for Delete Log.
4. You will get notified that you are about to delete
log.
How to delete image logs:
1. Tap the main menu button on the upper left
corner of the screen.
2. Tap the System button.
3. Tap Database and look for Delete image log.
4. You will get notified that you are about to delete
image log.

How to reboot the device:
1. Tap the main menu button on the upper left
corner of the screen.
2. Tap the system button.
3. Tap Database button.
4. Tap reboot.

How to do factory reset:


1. Tap the main menu button on the upper left
corner of the screen.
2. Tap the system button.
3. Tap Database
4. Tap Factory init. A message will prompt. To
proceed, tap Yes.
How to connect to network:
For the UBio-X Pro 2:
1. Tap the main menu button
2. Tap the network button.
3. Insert the required value of network information
(IP address, Subnet mask, Gateway, Port and
Terminal ID).
4. At the back off Biometric device, connect the
ethernet cable in Ethernet port.
For the computer:

1. Go to control panel and find the network and
sharing center.
2. Click ethernet then under ethernet click properties.
3. Find the Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4).
4. Insert the value of network information (Server IP,
Subnet Mask, Gateway)
Note: To check whether the connection is established:
1. In the computer, click start menu.
2. Type ‘cmd’ and press Enter.
3. In the command prompt, type ping [device’s
IP address] then press Enter.
4. If the device’s address replied, the connection is
good. Otherwise, check for the connection or on
the device’s or computer’s network settings.
