7.2 Collection Collection of segregated recyclable and compostable materials is the
responsibility of the barangay. Collection of mixed solid waste and
residuals is the responsibility of the city/municipality. The SWM plan
should describe how the city/municipality will coordinate collection
activities with the barangay.
7.2.1 Overview Description of the strategy for collection, based on the projected
quantities of segregated bio-degradables and recyclables, and of
residual waste.
