Writing Test
Create a conversation for one of the following situations. Each person should say at least
two things.

• You ask a friend to recommend a doctor.

• You call the receptionist at the doctor’s office and make an appointment.

• You arrive at the office and are greeted by the receptionist.

• The doctor asks you what problem you are having and suggests a treatment.

Receptionist: Good morning, Dr. Thanh’s office, how can I assist you today?
Me: Hi there, I’d like to schedule an appointment with Dr. Thanh, please.
Receptionist: Of course, do you have a preferred date and time?
Me: Yes, I was hoping for sometime next week, preferably in the afternoon if possible.
Receptionist: Let me check the schedule... How about Wednesday at 3:00 PM?
Me: That sounds perfect.
Receptionist: Great. May I have your name, please?
Me: Sure, my name is Pham Nhu Quynh.
Receptionist: what's the reason for your visit?
Me: I've been having some persistent headaches lately, and I think it's time to get them checked out.
Receptionist: We'll make sure to get you in to see Dr. Smith promptly. Anything else I can assist you
with?
Me: No, that's all, thank you.
Receptionist: Alright, your appointment is all set for next Wednesday at 3:00 pm. We'll see you then.
Me: Perfect, thank you so much. Have a great day!
