previous years, the Depar-uncnt amends thc achedule of llrc conduct of early registration

Whilc incomint Grades 2-6, &-10, and 12 learncrs from public schools arc considcrcd
pre-registered, thus they do not necd to pa.rticipate in *rc early registration. However,
privatc schools are encoureted to conduct thcir respcctivc early registration aclivities in
thc semc timeframe.

4. All public elementary snd sacondary echools shall update or encode daily in tie
Eerly Registration facility in the Lcarner lnformation SyEtem (LIS) using thc school hcad
or school adrninistrator acaount. Public elementsiy and scclnda4r schools shall us. thc
pnnt or electronic copies of thc Basic Fducation Enrollmc_nt Form (Revis€d as of March
27,2023) ro ensure that ncca$ga.ry information in rctistcring incoming Kindergart€n,
Gradcs I, 7, a-nd I I leerncrs, end othcr dete, arc properly captured.

DepEd Order No.47, s. 2016).

8. Schools divieion sup€rintcndcnts and school hcads shall facilitatc the conduct of
advo.a{y c.mpaign3 erithin their rcgpcctive jurisdictiols to inforE the gencral public and
encouraS. Out of S.hool ChildEn (OSC) and parents/guardiars of prospcctive lcErn€rs
to participate in the Earty Rc8btration for SY 2023_2024, by posting rclcvant materials in
conlpicuous placcs, and malonS announcements in loc€l televisions and radio
broadcastinS stations,

9. All othcr Fnovisions of DO 03, s. 201E, not otherwisc sllccted or anendcd by this
DcpEd Order, shall rcmain valid and eflective unless otherwiac amended by other DcpEd
issuanccs.

10. This DcpEd Order shall trlc eflect immediatcly upon its approva.l, issuancc, and
publication on the DcpEd *cbrite. Ccrtified copies of this mcr sha.ll be .egistercd with
the Omc! of thc National Adminbtrativc Rcgistcr (ONAR) at the Univcrsity of OIe
