01.EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This Project Report is an integral part of the MBA Program. “The Study of
Marketing research of Baderia Metro prime” is my topic for the project . The main
factor of success in each organization is marketing, because it is the main channel
between any organization and its customers.
Marketing has many strategies, but all these strategies have one goal, to promote
the products or services of the organization by increasing the satisfaction level of
customers.
The most important strategy of marketing in our modern era is Marketing
research which developed through time from one element to multi elements.
According to Philip Kotler “Marketing research is the set of controllable variables
that the firm can use to influence the buyer’s response”. The controllable
variables in this context refer to the 4 ‘P’s [product, price, place (distribution) and
promotion].
This project report is concerned with the marketing research strategies of
Baderia metro prime.
This report consists of 12 different headings. The report begins with research
objectives and introduction of marketing research. The next part of the report
provides a review of literature of Baderia metro.
The fifth heading consists of the research methodology which speaks about the
primary data used for the research as this report is based on primary data,
explaining how the study is carried out .The sixth heading consists of
interpretation of data which deals with preparation of charts and tables.

bibliography.
MARKETING RESEARCH & ANALYISIS

INTRODUCTION :- Marketing research is defined as any

technique or a set of practices that companies use to collect
information to understand their target market better.

Organizations use this data to improve their products, enhance their

UX, and offer a better product to their customers.

Marketing research is involved with the linking of the manufacturers,

intermediaries and the customers through information. It helps in
identifying the recent trends in habits and behaviours of consumers
through a research process.
Data Collection: The process begins with gathering data from
a variety of sources. This data can be classified into two main
categories:
Primary Data: Data collected directly from original sources, such
as surveys, interviews, focus groups, observations, and
experiments.
Secondary Data: Existing data collected by third parties, such as
market reports, government publications, industry publications,
and academic studies.

Data Processing: Once collected, the data is processed to ensure its

accuracy and reliability. This step involves cleaning the data to
remove errors or inconsistencies and structuring it in a way that is
suitable for analysis. Data processing may also involve data coding,
categorization, and transformation.

Data Analysis: The heart of market research analysis involves

examining and interpreting the data to extract meaningful insights.
Various analytical techniques and statistical tools are used to
identify patterns, relationships, trends, and correlations within the
data. This analysis supports businesses in making knowledgeable
decisions.

Competitive Analysis: Assessing the competitive landscape

is an essential aspect of market research analysis. This includes
studying competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, strategies, market
share, and customer perceptions. Understanding the competitive
environment is crucial for shaping a company’s strategy and
positioning in the market.
Consumer Behavior Analysis: Understanding how
consumers think, feel, and act is a central objective of market
research analysis. It involves identifying consumer preferences,
purchasing habits, motivations, and pain points. This information
helps businesses tailor their products, services, and marketing
efforts to meet customer needs effectively.

Market Trends Identification: Market research analysis

helps businesses stay updated on the latest market trends,
industry developments, and emerging technologies. Recognizing
these trends allows companies to adapt, innovate, and remain
competitive in their respective markets.

Strategic Decision-Making: Ultimately, the goal of market

research analysis is to provide actionable insights that inform
strategic decision-making. These decisions can relate to product
development, pricing strategies, marketing campaigns, market
entry or expansion, and more.
Risk Mitigation: By understanding market dynamics and
potential challenges, businesses can proactively identify and
mitigate risks. This reduces the likelihood of unexpected setbacks
and allows for more effective crisis management.
Market research analysis is a vital tool that helps businesses
gather and interpret data to make informed decisions, mitigate
risks, identify opportunities for growth, and stay competitive in
their respective markets. It plays a pivotal role in shaping
business strategies and ensuring that resources are allocated
effectively to achieve business objectives.

Why Is Procurement Important in Business?

Procurement is an important step in understanding supply chains, because it

helps a company find reliable suppliers that can provide competitively
priced goods and services that match the company’s needs. That’s the case
whether the company is seeking raw materials for manufacturing, a
marketing services provider or new office supplies.

For example, if a company needs a new supplier to provide an ongoing

service for an indefinite period of time — such as an email security solution
— the procurement process helps the company choose the supplier that best
meets all of the business’s requirements at a reasonable price. It enables the
business to avoid wasting time, money and valuable resources dealing with
an inadequate supplier.

Minimizing cost is one important aspect of improving your procurement

processes. But it’s also vital to identify suppliers that provide the quality of
goods and services that the company needs and have the capacity to deliver
reliably and a track record of doing so.

Types of Procurement

Direct procurement refers to obtaining anything that’s required to produce

an end-product. For a manufacturing company, this includes raw materials
and components. For a retailer, it includes any items purchased from a
wholesaler for resale to customers.

Indirect procurement typically involves purchases of items that are essential

for day-to-day operations but don’t directly contribute to the company’s
bottom line. This can include anything from office supplies and furniture to
advertising campaigns, consulting services and equipment maintenance.
Goods procurement largely refers to the procurement of physical items, but
it can also include items like software subscriptions. Effective goods
procurement generally relies on good supply chain management practices. It
may include both direct and indirect procurement.

Services procurement focuses on procuring people-based services.

Depending on the company, this may include hiring individual contractors,
contingent labor, law firms or on-site security services. It may include both
direct and indirect procurement.
