Crew without any immigration pass
6 You/master/owner/charterer must note that if your approved sign-off crew are not in possession of any
e-landing pass or are a long-term pass holder, they will have to present themselves, for immigration
clearance and security inspection at the ICA sea checkpoints1 or the gazetted marinas2 first, before
proceeding to a departing checkpoint (i.e. Airport) for departure clearance. They must possess a
recognised and valid travel document (including a valid visa, if applicable).

7 Under no circumstances should the sign-off crew without a valid immigration pass are to proceed
straight to the departing checkpoint without going through the immigration clearance and security
checks (e.g. baggage checks) at the ICA sea checkpoints or the gazetted marinas. The crew must bring
along all baggage/ belonging when reporting for their departure clearance.

8 Crew must submit their SG Arrival Card (SGAC) applications within 3 days (including the day of arrival)
before reporting to the ICA sea checkpoints1 or the gazetted marinas2, to avoid unnecessary delays
during immigration clearance. Please ensure that the crew provide correct and valid email addresses in
the SGAC applications as the electronic visit passes (e-Passes) would be sent to their email addresses.
The e-Pass serves as the entry pass which will indicate the period of stay granted and the last day of
stay allowed. There will be no physical endorsements given on the crew’s passports. Notwithstanding,
the issuance of e-Passes to crew would be subject to prevailing immigration entry requirements. More
information on the entry requirements can be found via https://www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-
depart/entering-singapore.

9 You/master/owner/charterer must check the crew’s e-Passes validity and ensure that they do not
overstay in Singapore. You may do so via https://eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard/epassenquiry. For
e-Passes issued at the checkpoints, reminder emails would be sent 7 days prior to the expiry of the e-
LP and 2 days prior to the expiry of the e-SP. For crew intending to prolong their stay in Singapore,
you/master/owner/charterer should apply for an extension of the e-Passes before they expire. Any crew
who overstayed in Singapore would contravene Section 15 of the Immigration Act and
you/master/owner/charterer could face prosecutorial actions if found culpable.
