INTRODUCTION

What is a lashista or eyelash extensionist?

Natural person who practices the extension technique or extending the hair to the
hair of the eye and the objective is to solve volume and length in the looks with
short or long term duration.

What is an eyelash extension?

They are semi-permanent individual lashes that are applied directly to your natural
lashes one by one, for a very natural look and feel.

Are my natural eyelashes damaged?

It is worth mentioning that, when using Eyelash Extensions , natural eyelashes
are not damaged, since unlike false eyelashes that are glued, the extensions are
placed on the natural eyelash with the help of a special hypoallergenic adhesive
free of formaldehyde and stick 1 mm away from the eyelid.

Advantages!
Unlike false eyelashes, Eyelash Extensions last much longer, in addition to
having a more natural finish and you can swim, bathe and sleep with them without
any problem, you will not need to use mascara , however, if you want to give them
For a more dramatic effect, it is advisable to use special products for eyelash
extensions that you will only find in professional establishments.
And as a conclusion, the difference between false eyelashes and Eyelash
Extension is that they will look more natural and will give greater expression to your
eyes, which will allow you to look beautiful at all times of the day.

TYPES OF EYELASH EXTENSIONS
Among the most common materials for Eyelash Extensions are:
The natural ones are made with natural hair specially treated to trim
and refine the eyelashes. This type of material, although expensive,
achieves a completely natural appearance.
Opaque silk This material, although called that, is not made of silk. It is
actually made with a mix of natural hair and polyester, which gives it a
silk-like appearance. This material is rare on the market.
Mink's. This is the top material for Eyelash Extensions, although its
price is usually more expensive.
Synthetics, this type of hair is created similar to the natural eyelash and
is commonly a combination of polyester with polymers and colorants.
This is usually the most common eyelash extension due to its low cost
and its large supply in beauty stores. What false eyelashes are
normally made of is why they are much cheaper and easier to find.

The first thing you should know is that an application of Eyelash

Extensions is carried out by a professional with extensive knowledge of
this technique, applying it one by one, on each natural eyelash
independently. Here, groups of false eyelashes have no place, as the
objective is to achieve the greatest possible naturalness.

MODELS AND DESIGNS

BASIC APPLICATION TECHNIQUE
How to apply eyelash extensions?
This is a treatment that, although it is not too complex, requires
patience and a lot of expertise. It is not something you should do
alone. Our advice is to put yourself in the hands of professionals if
you do not want unpleasant surprises. That said, let's see step by
step how to apply eyelash extensions.
Preparation
The step prior to any treatment is to check that the instruments
are clean and disinfected, the face of the person who is going to
undergo the treatment free of makeup, as well as the eyelashes,
without any remaining oil or any type of residue, Otherwise the
glue will not seal well.

The next step is to determine the type of eyelashes to be placed,

size, quantity, complete eyelid or just the ends... Once done, it is
recommended that the person to whom the extensions will be
applied lie down in a comfortable place (it is a process that does
not last two minutes).

Protect eyes

1. Place the eyelash extension protective paper (usually included

in the kit) over the lower eyelid, leaving the lower eyelashes above
it.
2. Place two strips of tape in the shape of an
We start with the process
1. Use the brush comb to brush the eyelashes, this way you will
be able to remove loose ones and separate them from each other.
2. Shake the special glue and apply a drop on the surface of a
glass godet, once done, close the glue again to prevent it from
drying.

3. Take a pair of straight tweezers with your left hand and

separate one natural eyelash, just one, from the rest of the
eyelashes.

4. With your right hand, take the curved tweezers and hold the
extension that you are going to place by the tip, submerge it in the
tail approximately a third or half of it.

5. Check again if the natural eyelash is independent of the others

and brush your natural eyelash with the artificial one that contains
the adhesive to ensure that both have some glue and stick better.

6. Place the artificial eyelash at a distance of 0.5 to 1 mm from the

root of the natural eyelash, avoid placing it on the same root or on
the eyelid, as it could cause irritation and serious discomfort. You
can start from the middle of the eyelid border to the outer vertex.

7. Wait a few seconds for it to dry and use the air pump to dry the
glue.

8. Follow the natural shape of the eyelashes, from the outside to

the inside.

9. You must work in parallel, that is, apply one eyelash to the left
eye and then another to the right eye. At the end of the procedure
we must have the same number of eyelashes on both eyes.

10. When you have finished gluing all the tabs, wait

11. minutes until the glue is dry.

12.Once dry, brush the eyelashes with a mascara-type brush and

carefully remove the band.

13. After 24 hours, the eyelashes can be made up with a mascara

that is not waterproof.

Very useful tips

– Make sure that the tape you use does not depilate the area,
there are special hair adhesives that can help you.
– If when you remove the tape you see that it has adhered
completely, use a makeup remover pad with an aqueous solution
to remove it.
WITHDRAWAL TECHNIQUE

 Remove eye makeup. Use a gentle eye makeup remover to

clean off mascara or eyeliner. This will allow you to more
easily see where your real lashes end and where the
extensions begin.

 Dampen a Q-tip with the glue cleaner. Make sure it is very

moist.
 Gently pull down the outer corner of one of your upper
eyelids. Close one eye and tilt the eyelid down at the outer
corner, using the tip of one finger. Your upper lashes should
point downward so you can see the extensions better.
 Move the swab along the lash line. Move it from the outer
corner to the inner corner in small, gentle movements. The
cleaner should begin to dissolve the glue.
 After you've swab your lash line about 15 times with the
swab, grab the end of an extension with the curved tweezers
and slowly remove it.
 Remove excess glue from your eyelid. Once you've
removed your extensions, swab your upper lashes again to
clean off any glue residue.

PREVENTION AND CARE MEASURES

The care is basic, such as not rubbing the eyes vigorously, not standing under the
shower jet and removing makeup with caution. Also consider, do not subject your
extensions to humidity for 48 hours after their application, stay away from the
sauna or steam, as you run the risk of your Eyelash Extensions becoming spliced,
on the other hand, false eyelashes can damage your natural eyelashes if you
remove them incorrectly. Even if you apply and remove them correctly, false
eyelashes could damage your natural lashes. They can even cause your
eyelashes to fall out or be torn off in some cases.

It is important to care for your eyelash extensions to keep them strong, resilient, and
in place. With these tips your extensions will last longer and better:

*Do not get them wet for the next 24 to 48 hours. to its application, this will allow the
glue not to break and last longer.

*Brush them after bathing and before sleeping to accommodate them (a brush is
provided for each service).

*Do not rub the eyes; When squeezing the water you should use a delicate movement
with your fingers in one direction.

*If you usually use shadow or eyeliner, it is important that they are water-based and
that you also use water-based makeup removers so as not to affect the glue.
*The use of mascara is not recommended, however, if you want to use mascara on
special occasions, you should use a special one for extensions, which is made on a
water basis so that you do not have to scrub them, so it will fall off on its own when it
comes to hair extensions. The shower.

*Do not touch them with your fingers constantly, since our skin contains a little oil
that can affect the glue and cause it to fall off.

*Do not pull them, as you will not only detach the extension, but also your natural
eyelash, which will lead you to lose them and make them look scarce.

It is recommended for women who have short, sparse or poorly curved eyelashes.
Likewise, it is not recommended for people with conjunctivitis, a tendency to
frequent eye infections, or dry eye syndrome.

The application is not painful but quite the opposite, it is done delicately by
applying the extension one at a time to the natural eyelash, from the half closest to
the eyelids to the outer point. Products with the corresponding health guarantees
are used as adherents, made for sensitive and hypoallergenic eyes in order to take
maximum care of the ocular area, although in principle it should not have any
contact with the skin.

The entire process takes approximately between one and a half and two hours of
work depending on the number of units applied to each eye .

And as a conclusion, the difference between false eyelashes and Eyelash

Eyelash maintenance touch-up

The duration of your eyelash extensions depends on the care you take with them,
normally the extensions last 3 to 4 months with touch-ups. (every 15 days)
Each Touch-up consists of placing eyelash extensions in the spaces where some
of them have fallen out. It is totally normal for some to fall during that time.
For hygiene reasons, it is recommended to completely change the extensions for a
new set every 3 or 4 months to avoid excessive accumulation of dead cells and
waste and thus avoid allergies or infections. By making these changes, they can be
used infinitely.
