this study guide that aims to help you determine what business process
management is, its objectives and scope, recognize the origin and evolution of

processes as the axis of coordination in companies.

coordination axis.

1. BPM is based on many principles that attack typical day-to-day problems in companies and the
development of information systems within them.

2. BPM promotes the understanding and modeling of all processes through documentation, relying
on tools that allow the analysis and modeling of changes.

3. Supports the achievement of operations improvement by reducing costs and increasing profits.
