FINANCIAL BUDGETS

DESCRIPTION DURATION
This class teaches you how to create budgets in Workday and 10 Hours
covers topics such as:
TRAINING UNITS
• The general process of building and maintaining a budget. 1
• How to import budget data using the Enterprise Interface
Builder (EIB).
• Advanced budget-related topics, such as amendments and approvals, multicurrency,
and budget checking.

This course is designed for finance professionals with basic Workday Financial Management
knowledge who would like to deepen their understanding of budgets.

There are many different types of budgets in Workday. This course only covers financial
budgets, though many of the topics presented apply to all budget types.

PRETRAINING CONSIDERATIONS

This course is designed for finance professionals with basic knowledge of Workday Financial
Management who would like to deepen their understanding of budgets.

To successfully complete this course, you need a working knowledge of the Workday core
concepts, including navigation, organizations, business processes, and reporting. These topics
are covered at an introductory level in Workday Core Concepts or in more depth in Workday
Foundations. We highly recommend you complete one or both introductory courses before
enrolling in Financial Budgets.
