Note:Utilize the information provided in Ch.2 of your History textbook to gain a deeper understanding of the era and its
significance in History. Use a chart paper to create a timeline of Abbasid or Umayyad Caliphate, highlighting key events,
rulers and advancements in their reign. Use visuals and colors to make your timeline informative.
2.Activity: “River-Based Agriculture Analysis”
Read Pg.39 of your geography book to learn about the agricultural challenges Pakistan faces. Besides them, River Indus
also offers significant advantages to the country. Discuss the advantages of agriculture facilitated by the Indus River in
Pakistan. Consider factors such as irrigation, hydropower, transportation, sediment deposition and ecosystem diversity.
SCIENCE: Attempt any one of the following tasks.
Task # 1 “Think Green Go Green”
Prepare a Science magazine on the theme “Environment”. Use white or coloured sheets to make your magazine. Cover page
should be imaginative. Use your imagination and creativity. Give your magazine a suitable name. The content should
consist of 7-8 pages only.
Some of the things that you can include in your magazine are:
a. Information about one famous environmentalist. His/Her picture or information about his/her work.
b. 2-3 clippings or articles from the newspaper about the environment.
c. Some amazing/interesting facts about the environment.
d. Puzzles/riddles/jokes/thoughts about the environment.
e. Visit or search for a polluted place/river/lake and write about it in the magazine.
f. Write five ways that must be kept in mind to keep the environment clean.

Task # 2"Journey Inside Leaves: Exploring Nature's Tiny Factories"
Create a 3D model of the internal structure of a leaf.
