HP steam application

Features
The IMI Bopp & Reuther high pressure steam safety valve:
> Solid inlet nozzle, screwed in and the inlet in accordance with customer
welded specifications
> Manages the high forces in the pressure > Ideal for combination with the
adjustment via clamping plate and pneumatic actuator AK as well as the
upper pressure ring PC 50 / 53 control unit for “controlling”
the discharge process
> Material designs for high temperatures
with the option to select the material at Safe operation
with 25% back
pressure
Inlet sizes Overpressure
DN 80 to DN 300 Vapours / gases 5%

Inlet pressure rating Blow down

PN 40 to PN 400 Vapours / gases 10%

Set pressures Allowable built-up back pressure

15 bar g to 200 bar g 15% of the set pressure

Temperature range
Up to 550 °C

Applications Full nozzle design

> Steam boiler > Steam temperatures above 500 °C
> Superheater > Large flow diameter with high pressures
